Love How Smart It Is!

It stacks so neatly, easy to use, it reminds you to clean the lint screen, and it tells you it is done on your smart devices. Once it is connected to the washer, there is one location to operate both machines which we love.

worked well until it didn't

Dryer broke after 18 months - bad control panel. Replaced it myself and it lasted about 9 months. Now, no power and don't want to bother with poor quality product again. Too bad because TV's are good; not so dryers.

Works till the warranty expires

We purchased these brand new in June 2023. They must program these machines to wear out right after the warranty expires. In January 2026 the washer would no longer start. To have the part replaced would cost about as much as what we paid for this item. I cannot recommend a Samsung washer less than I do this one. Extremely disappointed that this is the outcome. DO NOT BUY THIS WASHER.

Not GFCI compliant with 2023 NEC Code

Purchased this dryer July 2025 for a new home built in the City of Austin, TX. The City requires all new builds to be compliant with the 2023 NEC codes, which also require all dryers be GFCI compliant. This dryer consistently trips our GFCI breaker because the advanced electronics cause nuisance-trips. Each night, even though it isn't in use, it trips the breaker. I've had 2 master electricians review all wiring. I've had Samsung to my home twice to attempt to fix this - the last time they told me it was definitely not going to fix the issue. The only solution provided was to replace the breaker with an older breaker, which would void my homeowner warranty and possibly my insurance policy, OR return the product to Samsung. Do not buy this dryer if your home was built compliant with the 2023 NEC Code - you will have issues. I would gladly return this dryer to Samsung if they would also take the matching washing machine -- it's brushed Navy and I cannot match the color with the small handful of dryers which are compliant with the 2023 NEC Code.

Stopped Working Right After Warranty Ended

My Samsung dryer failed after only 29 months and no longer heats or dries at all. This is completely unacceptable for an expensive household appliance. A dryer should not break down this quickly, especially right after the warranty ends. This feels like poor design and low-quality manufacturing. I am extremely dissatisfied and will seriously reconsider purchasing Samsung appliances in the future.
