A bit of pain to set up due to ambiguous instructions but the copier seems to work fine

This printer has been a pain to set up. Been working on it for three weeks

Easy to install, I like the paper drawer being under machine.

This printer has been not very good. After about a year, the printouts became blotchy. You run the clean nozzle and it seems to fix the issue, but comes back quickly. Probably my worst purchase of a printer ever.

I just bought this printer. After buying it I noticed all the reviews about set up being difficult so I was nervous. When it arrived I noticed on the box it has a list of operating systems that it is compatible with and Windows 11 was not part of the list (which is what I have). I jumped into the set up anyway and thankfully set up was a breeze. I had no issues setting it up. Didn't even read the directions or anything. I just followed the prompts on the printer screen and it had it set up and printing within 30 minutes. It took a little longer only because it was updating software.

Bought this to replace an HP8600 which gave great service over a long lifespan. I did not care for the current HP offerings. Intrigued by the Brother ink tank system, too early to tell if any savings. Occasional random noisy creaks which I guess is printhead cleaning or something. Construction quality is flimsier than previous printer and we have to be more careful when feeding label sheets. Other reviews mention mediocre type quality, but our 6 pt. output is OK. Print speed is noticeably improved. Easy setup, no connection issues.

Lasted for about 1.5 years. Now can't hold an alignment or maintain print quality. Support said to upgrade firmware but the installation part of that refuses the machine's password which is clearly written on the printer. After spending hours and hours and hours in this futile endeavor, I'm done. To the Landfill it goes.

We do not recommend this printer. Issues with having to frequently reconnect to Wifi. Issues with print quality; the printheads have to be cleaned every few printouts. We barely had the machine a year when it acted up. We chose this printer because we loved our previous Brother MFC. It was great, and lasted for years. We've never been able to connect to the MobileConnect app. Would not recommend.

I use my Brother printer for home use only. It does a great job in printing and copying! To scan you need to use the iprint and scan app. It's easy to use and again does a great job as well. I've only had it for a short time but it does everything I want my printer to do. The speed in printing is pretty quick! I had a different printer by another company but it was very expensive with buying the ink jet cartridges and had problems with scanning as they wanted me to pay for the site. So far I'm very happy with my Brother printer!

I replaced my older Brother inkjet printer after 8 years of moderate use. No real question about going with another brand for Nancy new printer. Set up was easy....a small issue with getting the printer connected to the wireless network but nothing major. This machine prints a bit faster than the old one but is also a bit noisier. Appreciate larger volume paper tray. Happy with the purchase, so far
