Mushy flour tortillas with chunks of chicken

These really have no resemblance to chicken enchilada other than they have some chicken and enchilada sauce It's basically large flour tortillas (instead of corn which are used for enchiladas) with chunks of chicken inside and covered with sauce and cheese. Very bland in flavor and some of the chicken had cartilage chunks, but the worst is the flour tortillas. After sitting in the sauce till you buy, and then in the oven long enough to heat up, the tortillas are just flour-based slime. Very unappetizing. We ate one, tossed the rest.

Not Good

The thing I didn't like most is that they are flour tortillas not corn. I didn't notice it until I had already bought them. Who makes flour tortilla enchiladas, seriously? Mine did have a decent amount of pieces of breast meat unlike some reviewers but the chicken was definitely very salty. The sauce was so mild and flavorless. If that's how you like your enchiladas then this is for you.

Yum!

Bought these for the first time last night and made them up tonight. I?m not a big enchilada person, but even I loved them! We will cook without the foil on them the whole time next time so they crisp up but either way they are delicious. My only issue is that I can?t seem to find the enchilada sauce online from Sams that they use. I was hoping there was a members mark sauce but I don?t think there is. Of course that has no reflection on this product itself :)

so-so

The first couple bites were delicious, but then I came upon the chunks of chicken. The chunks were too big and hard. I cooked it longer, but the chicken was still not tender. If the chicken had been shredded, I think it would have been much better.

Salty

Salty, salty, salty!

Flavor was good, but way to salty. I usually make my own with leftover chicken and veggies, but it was so late in the day we figured we'd try them. I added some fresh veggies and salsa to help combat the salt, but wouldn't have these again based on that salt.

Fantastic

As I read some other reviews I wonder about people. These are very tasty, mild and filling. I gave never had an issue with freshness. I check the date. I buy these about 6-8 times a year and have never been disappointed. If you like Mexican flavors, you will probably love these. Enjoy.

Food 5 star / Pan is 0

We absolutely love these Enchiladas... lots of tender chicken & great sauce (more cheese than we like, so we scrape half off). The label said to transfer to an oven-safe pan. We saw nowhere that you could put it in the oven - especially a toaster oven - which we use - doesn't seem safe so close to the elements. We won't buy again unless they go back to the foil pans. reply from Member's Mark

There was a period of time where we experienced supply disruptions in packaging, JJ. But we are happy to share that this item is back in oven safe packaging. We appreciate your feedback and hope you continue to enjoy Member's Mark prepared meals.

Good taste

This is a good pre-made product, HOWEVER, They put it in a plastic container, which defeats the entire purpose of buying a pre-made meal. Make sure you are getting this in an aluminum/metal pan so you may transfer it directly from refrigerator to oven; otherwise you must transfer it to an oven-safe pan first. I will not buy another one in a plastic pan.

"Enchiladas" made w/flour tortillas very bland

Enchiladas are traditionally made with corn tortillas. Chicken Enchiladas can have red, sour cream or other toppings, but these were made with flour tortillas. Just to clarify the package I bought were in the Deli case, not frozen. Very bland, no taste... I gave them to the dogs.

Not Too Bad

This is really big, you can split this and eat it several times. It's not overly spicy, and I didn't find it too salty. It is tex-mex. The tortillas are thick and can feel a bit gummy. The chicken pieces are large and cooked through. It wasn't restaurant quality, but it was good for a Saturday evening home dinner. The cooking instructions are on the bottom. Mine came in a metal tin, so all I had to do was remove the plastic cover, cover it with foil, and bake. It is supposed to bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes. I had already frozen mine, so it took much longer.
