Extremely tough! Will never buy this again in SAMS. I don’t believe this cut is really skirt steak. It was extremely chewy, hard to cut and stringy. We were extremely disappointed!

Pan fried it with butter 3-4 minutes each side however when finished it was hard to cut and very chewy. :/ Guess I'm not the best cook. The presentation looked great though

this steak is not good.it has a lot of silver skin on it. even after the painstaking task of removing it and marinating overnight it was tough and chewy no matter what temp it was cooked. I was literally chewing a small piece for minutes almost like chewing gum. We had a few pieces from whole foods that were butchered well and extremely tender. Never buying this cut here again.

This was the worst cut of meat i have ever had! So chewy! Terrible quality!

Do not buy meat is very chewy don’t waste your money on this meat.

I have been using this cut of beef for years and never had my meal be this tough. I broke it out and cooked it two different ways, sliced correctly and still..horrible.

I got the skirt steak despite having been told that it was not good. Needless to say, It was very tough. Ended up letting it sit in baking soda for several hour to eat the other half, but I would prefer not to do that.

I purchased a large package and was disappointed at the amount of silverskin I had to trim from the two large skirt steaks. Next time, I will leave these in the cooler and proceed to the NY steip steaks - no fuss, no muss.

It’s great and marinated well with my seasoning mix.
