While this looked good from the top, once we took it out and looked on the bottom, it was heavy with tough gristle and lots of fat. It was a horribly tough cut and we will not be buying this again

The amount of fat you have to trim off of it is insane. Don’t waste your money. Sam’s should put a little more effort into trimming the excess fat off specially since we’re already paying so much for beef!

Good but could be better!

The meat was good, but at over $10 per lb I’d think they would trim a bit more fat off. There was almost 1 lb of fat all together so i paid almost $10 for fat that went into the garbage. Of course the fat was on the opposite side too so it was not visible in the packaging.

It was tough like leather not edible!

Grilled one of the steaks the other day and it was delicious and tender.

Meat was hard and very chewy after it was grilled. Not the best choice of meat when doing a carne asada too tough when eating it.
