We purchased our mattress online for in store pickup and brought it home and immediately put it on the bed frame. The mattress never rose above 10”. And in fact, in some places it rose less than 10”. We gave the mattress a couple of weeks but it never rose anymore than it did in the first few hours after it came out of the box. I suspect that because the mattress was defective and didn’t rise properly, it also was much more firm than it should have been and caused me back pain every night I slept on it. We called the Serta line listed on the product page but was told that because we picked the mattress up in store, we would have to work with the store as they don’t help with anything more than a warranty claim if purchased in store. Sams told us we would have to return the mattress in store for a refund, so keep that in mind if you also have trouble with your purchase. We had to rent a uhaul to return this faulty mattress to the store which was a pain as it was a king and heavy and difficult to maneuver. So overall this was not a very good experience. I expected that Serta would be there to help us if there were any problems, making the return process simple, but that simply wasn’t the case. Had we purchased online and had the mattress delivered then perhaps it would have been different. Since that isn’t made clear in the product description where they recommend calling the Serta line for any issues, I thought it would be good to relate our experience here.

Bought it in club. It will only expand to 10 inches, not 12 inches. If I wanted 10 inches, I would have paid less money for the 10 inch mattress. SERTA won't help if you don't buy it off their website, they send you back to talk to SamsClub. Club says you have to wrap it in plastic shrink wrap and find a way to drive it back to the Club. So if you don't own a Truck, then there's no way a Queen size mattress is going to fit in your car to return it. There is no way to shrink it back up. Ugh... All you get from samsclub is SORRY.

Bought this a few months ago. I'm average weight, relatively fit middle aged individual who normally doesn't complain much about any type of mattress. This mattress, however, makes my body ache. Whether I sleep a few hours or all night, I wake up super sore and miserable. Not sure if it's the mattress firmness or chemical allergies but it's making me miserable.

We bought this in the summer after reading so many great reviews. It's such a hard mattress. And even after adding a $200 mattress topper, my husband and I wake up so sore. Not sure if I should contact Serta or Sam's Club for any kind of option.

My best experience with a mattress in a box! Had the mattress out of the box, on the foundation and plastic cut in 20 minutes. Slept comfortably the first night. If it expands anymore (there's still 24 hours to go), I may need a step stool to get in bed. Love this purchase.

Needed a mattress for an adjustable bed frame. Perfect. I like a firm bed. This one is perfect. Not soft but not hard. I have back issues snd I slept all night. Would definitely buy again. Get the adjustable base. Will change your life -if you have GERD.

I bought this mattress yesterday. I returned it this morning. Thank God Sam's has an awesome return policy. So what's wrong with it? It feels like I slept in a sinkhole. It's also super hot. Cooling foam does not work. I woke up and ran to take a shower. So, if u like sleeping in a hot sinkhole, buy it. Otherwise, serta makes other amazing products.

to be honest the first couple of weeks on this bed I considered returning! IT was just too FIRM.. I took the cover off and put on a regular fitted sheet after the first couple of days. After that it started to soften up a bit.. Now it is Wonderfull to sleep on. I have severe arthritis and scoliosis. so getting the right bed was important to me. I have less pain now than I did with a regular pillow top mattress. This bed is also very affordable...

I ordered this mattress on black friday of 2018. The mattress we received only expanded to 10" even though the tag on the mattress said it's a 12" mattress. I thought it would expand to 12" over time but it never did...I forgot about it until 6 months later when i placed an order for twin beds for my kids. I called sam's and they setup an exchange and the new one was shipped the same day. I will always buy mattresses from sam's. I hope their service for other large items are just as good.

Easy unboxing, thing looks like a rubber dock fender for a boat out of the box. A few cuts, and presto we have a bed. A little tentative at first getting used to my first memory foam mattress, ohhh I can't move around very well (it kinda sucks you in), OMG it's too hot (retains heat).. I'm not sure it's gonna fully "inflate" on the edges.. 2 days later I'm sleeping the best in years. It's very nice I would not hesitate to buy again. Doesn't like my zero g feature on the member's mark adjustable bed frame.. no big deal, raises up on the head just fine. Feet not so much. Oh well.
