rancid fish

Bought yesterday 2 packs. Both very fishy smelling. Cooked and was nasty and not fresh. Had to spit it out. Tasted bad and old. Not like any products bought before

Horrible

I'm so sick of getting stuff from Sam's in Covington that has mold on it or turns bad within a day of buying it. This salmon stuck up my entire fridge the day after I bought it. Absolutely disgusting

Nothing Fishy here😃

I buy a strip of the Sockeye salmon every month and cut it up in meal sized portions for two. It’s fresh, it’s tasty and it makes us feel good to eat something that’s good for our bodies and tastes good too!

Tasty & Fresh

I’m not used to the Sockeye Salmon but the $7 off per package made me want to try it. I put it on the grill which while delicious made it a bit dry. I usually buy the Norwegian Salmon which is Very Fatty so grilling doesn’t dry it out. It was delicious but I’d definitely bake next time!

All American catch

Great catch

excellent product love the fact it is not farm raised in a foreign country, when it comes to fish products I only purchase American wild catch products it has to be from American waters processed & packaged in America. This seems to be the only American fish product you carry that is wild catch, you need more American fish products please support all American products in your clubs.

Horrible!

I bought a package of this salmon, and I never will again! I got it delivered from the store and put it away in my refrigerator. I went to take it out to cook a couple hours later and my whole refrigerator stunk horrifically! I took the salmon out and could smell it through the plastic packaging. I had to bring it directly to the trash. That was the biggest waste of money!

Awful Wild Caught Sockeye Salmon

Wanted to try wild caught Salmon instead of farmed. Probably a mistake, because this Salmon smelled so bad! The strong ammonia odor was just too hard to get passed. I've had farm raised from other local stores, and those were so far superior! I can't attest to the taste of this, because i just can't bring myself to try cooking it. Hoping i can get a refund. I just can't recommend this at all!

labeling questionnable

I bought several packages of this product for the Vitamin D. Sockeye salmon is supposed to have 100 g (3.5 Oz) of sockeye holds 563 IU of vitamin D; about 94% of daily recommended intake. Label on this package says 0% Vitamin D. Why is this? mislabeled? I would not recommend this product unless Sam's Club makes clear why this product is not an excellent source of Vit. D by showing this on the label.

Disappointed in PA

DO NOT BUY

This product is awful. As soon as we opened it, the smell that permeated our home was sickening. The salmon was mushy and falling apart. (I would mention that it looked fine in the vacuum packaging and upon breaking the seal the fish literally started falling apart and the smell became apparent.) After seeing the other reviews on this product, I don't understand why Sam's Club would continue to purchase it. We will never purchase this product again.

Sticky fish

My husband and I was at Sam's yesterday. While I was looking at other food items, he stopped to look at the Salmon. He was considering the farm raised Salmon or wild one. He decided to get this particular one. While walking through the store, finishing our shopping we didn't notice the smell. However, once in the car, the smell became very apparent. While picking our daughter's up our youngest got in the car and quickly asked, "What's that smell!" Driving home was unbearable. We took the other groceries in the house and my husband immediately put the Salmon in a large black garbage bag to try and cover the smell and placed it in the trunk of our car to bring back to the store. The Salmon was left in our car for 45 minutes and the smell was all through the entire car and our Mercedes trunk smelled like something had died in it. When bringing it back to the store, the associate replied, "Oh wow, it smells like a fish market!" This is the only thing we have purchased at Sam's that we've had a bad experience with. We love Sam's, but we're more skeptical about purchasing seafood from the store now.
