This product is awful. As soon as we opened it, the smell that permeated our home was sickening. The salmon was mushy and falling apart. (I would mention that it looked fine in the vacuum packaging and upon breaking the seal the fish literally started falling apart and the smell became apparent.) After seeing the other reviews on this product, I don't understand why Sam's Club would continue to purchase it. We will never purchase this product again.

I’m not used to the Sockeye Salmon but the $7 off per package made me want to try it. I put it on the grill which while delicious made it a bit dry. I usually buy the Norwegian Salmon which is Very Fatty so grilling doesn’t dry it out. It was delicious but I’d definitely bake next time!

I bought a package of this salmon, and I never will again! I got it delivered from the store and put it away in my refrigerator. I went to take it out to cook a couple hours later and my whole refrigerator stunk horrifically! I took the salmon out and could smell it through the plastic packaging. I had to bring it directly to the trash. That was the biggest waste of money!

I use this salmon for the best smoked product. It has a high oil content. Lived in Alaska for many years and used many different types of salmon for smoking. Red is by far the best.

The Sockeye salmon was delicious and the value was good. I like that it is not farm raised because I don't always trust what farms put in their feed and it is more natural for fish to find food and live in the wild.

I am originally from Alaska, and always excited when I see Sockeye salmon and buy the one that is the highest in cost because I know it will be enough for my family for 2 meals.

I don’t know first time I have purchased it cut it up put in freezer and will eat some next wk pcs did appear to not be as plump as Atlantic or farm salmon I’ll just Have to wait and see if I made a bad choice or my????!!

I haven’t cook it it yet, but it looks great. I never buy farm raised anything so it was nice to find wild caught, sustainably caught salmon at your store.

Loved it! I prepared it last night. It came with two sides. I prepared one side with pesto purchased from Sams Club, and the other with lemon, butter and spices. It was fantastic!
