I have to request for a new lid for the 13.2 gal trash can because it does not completely close, and the Customer service was very helpful and sent me a new lid that fits perfectly.

This is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made I just love my trash cans they are so convenient just wave your hand and they open immediately it also keep the lid cleaner.

Just got these in and like them... Only complaint is they're a little on the noisy side when opening... Haven't had them long enough to give other details..

It's good that they sell it as a pair. One goes to the bathroom and the other is for the kitchen. And the battery needed is easy to find. Sleek look and no fingerprint marks when you touch it.

Quiver would barely lift the first week of use. Tried a different brand of battery, that seemed to help. Now nothing seems to help. The cover won't lift even with fresh batteries. On the rare occasion it functioned "normally" it was nice but that happened so rarely I can't recommend it.

We were recently given these trash cans as a gift. Initially, I thought, "Wow! These trash cans look really nice," until I actually started using them. The sensor lids wouldn't open when I needed them to (ex. carrying two handfuls of dirty, smelly trash), and they would open when I would just walk by emptyhanded! That should have been the first sign that these trash cans weren't for us. When I tried calling customer service with Nine Stars, no one answered the phone. I then emailed them, and no one responded to my pleas for a replacement or repair. This trash can is TRASH! I should have read the Yelp reviews on this product and returned our friend's generous gift before using it!

The larger lid quit opening, it only opens if you push the open button & only closes if you push the close button! Batteries are fine. Found online info to remove batteries for several hours to reset. Auto open/close worked for a day or two, then back to buttons. Removed batteries again, only auto open/close once or twice. Very irritating, company doesn't sell part, only entire lid for $35-40! Loved it when it worked!

The sleek design & shape work well against the wall…no odd shape to make it stick out in the floor. The large can is in the kitchen, I like that a pizza or cereal box goes in without too much break down. When cooking/baking the sensor lid is ideal to throw away when hands are covered with food. Small can for the bathroom is ideal, keeping a “lid” on gross trash! The grandkids think it’s the coolest, lol.

This stainless set is rated for indoor use, but I bought it for our outdoor grill area. There are always meat or vegetable wrappers & paper plates to discard. This made it very convenient. I use the small one at out outdoor bar area. Much appreciated by our guests. They not only look great but function well as I don't need to touch a germ filled trashcan & then make burgers or drinks. Quiet operation is a plus.

I purchased this October 26, 2020 and in the beginning of November the lid quit working properly. I wish I had noticed it in late October for I would have returned it or asked for help under the 1 year warranty. I loved it while it lasted but at this point it is just not good. New batteries didn't help. It's unfortunate because I really liked the way it worked. Now it barely opens a few inches and I have to touch it to close it.
