Too sensitive, had to turn it off because it opens every minute when we're busy in the kitchen, even when we pass by it. Figure batteries can make it quite expensive in the long run. We decided we will just keep it open and turn it on when we have company. It is cute. Also very thin aluminum. Guess the free one made it not worth returning.

Perfect set, nicely priced. We decided on these because our puppy won't stay out of the regular can with a regular lid. They have worked perfectly to deter that behavior because she's scared of it. Also a deciding factor was the batteries, this set actually takes the same size so we were able to buy em at Sam's in bulk. Other sets required different size batteries for each can

I don't know why I waited so long to get one of these. I had my eye on them but just didn't want to spend the money. I was finally so frustrated with trash cans that don't hold your bags the way they should! Shopping for something to hold the bag until it was full I found this and will never own anything different. The ease of it opening when my hands are full is more convenient than I realized. No nasty trash residue on a push top and the bag stays put and fills to the top. Amazing!

This is a sturdy, attractive stainless steel trash can. I didn't realize when I ordered that it came with a waste basket sized as well. Quite the bonus. Both have motion sensor lids. However the motion sensor on the large kitchen size can didn't work. I am still working on getting a replacement lid. The Nine Stars Group wrote back directing me to try a factory reset. That didn't do anything. Now I am waiting for them to send a replacement lid.

I've been looking for this kind of trash can for a long time. Every time I found one I liked, the price was way too high. This set of TWO sensor trash cans was a great deal. Now that we have them, my family doesn't know how we lived without them for so long. They're definitely on our list of all-time favorite purchases. I thought I wouldn't even want the smaller one, but it turned out to be very useful as well. The sensors are just the right sensitivity so they don't open simply from someone walking past them. They're also super easy to clean and don't require any kind of special cleaner. These trash cans came packed more securely than anything I've ever bought before, including computers. I've been very impressed with this purchase so far. Hopefully, they're around for many years to come.

In the beginning, it worked great. We use the adapter since the batteries needed to be changed so often. Within a few months, the lid would not fit correctly. We still made it work. Now, the lid sometimes will not open and other times, it will not close. This is our second sensor trash can and after a few years, we are having to replace it. Very disappointed.

I purchased this trash can in July, when I moved into my new apartment. It worked perfectly for the first six months then as I was changing the bag to discard the trash, the lid stopped working. Sounds like the motor is spinning but the lid doesn't open with it. Tried to reach out to the company, but nothing. Tried to change the batteries and that didn't work. Poor purchase

Needed something to keep a new kitten out of the trash cans and this was perfect. It works like a dream and I wish I'd gotten them sooner!

I loved this when I first got it, but now, after just a couple months, the lid on the kitchen one has stopped working. Would not recommend.

I like but not sure why mine is a little loud. Like you hear the gears or what not moving inside the unit
