We usually buy the whole tenderloin but the trimmed was so much more than the ones cut and trimmed so we bought these instead. They were absolutely wonderful! Our favorite steaks.

The filets in store are hit or miss. If you catch them when they're first cut and put out you can pick up a pack that is nicely marbled, however, often times I find many packs with very minimal marbling.

Great cut of meat but they always hide a 1 tenderloin under the label that is not so good. Need to open a meat counter like some Sam’s Clubs I’ve been to so you can pick your own out.

No complaints on the meat itself. Meat is getting soooo pricey. Hubby and I are splitting steaks. I generally prefer a slightly thicker cut, but these were not bad.

Excellent prime fillets. Great quality and evenly cut. Taste great on the grill . There is a difference between choice and prime and prime is worth it

Very good quality meat, that cooks up tender and delicious! I especially like when they have packages of the "tails", which are just enough for two people.

I had to wait a few minutes while they cut the filets for me, as there were none in the meat case. They were fresh, lean and absolutely delicious. As good as any upscale meat market.

Make sure to open the package once you get home. I was going to vacuum seal the meat to put in the freezer. The smell was so bad I had to air out the house. Return for a refund.

I've been really disappointed with the quality of the cuts, They are deceiving.. They hide the undesirable pieces either under a sticker or under a different portion.. I'm getting Atleast 15%unusable hard or pure fat

They always hide the gristle behing the label. This had one steak that was almost not edible for even a dog. At $20/lb it puts buying these at a question mark compared to going to my local butcher.
