Bought this chair yesterday and it is very uncomfortable. If you have long legs, this chair I do not recommend. The depth of the seat is too short. So when you seat your legs are only half on the seat of the chair. No tilt either. I went back to my old chair. Very disappointed

Dont waste your money. They cut corners. this chair used to be better, for the same price. They chopped out here and there to save money. The bottom portion is so short, that half your legs feel like they are dangling off, almost like your sliding off. Why couldnt they have made the bottom part 4-8 inches longer for a more comfortable seat. Thats my main issue with the chair. I will be returning this asap. I would have spent more on the chair if they had just left the bottom part alone or made it longer. I used to buy these all the time and I dont remember this issue, ever. Literally half my leg is hanging off the edge, slanted down so its not comfortable to sit in.

This is a well made quality chair. BUT put together it’s huge. The arms which are integral to its stability make it near impossible to push under a table or desk. If it’s lowered completely it will partially fit. The big problem for me is the pitch of the seat. It angles down in front which makes me constantly scooting back in. Problem could just be me. I’m a 5’ 4” senior woman weighing 175 with short legs. The seat itself is just way too wide. Another problem for me is the seat gets too warm. I’ve been using a ventilated car seat thin cushion which helps. BUT it is a very nice chair; no complaint on the quality. I’m going to return; just way too big.

It was a great chair to start off but does not hold off after a year. I work from home so i use this daily during the weekdays. Fell apart within a year. The cushion is destroyed and the spring came out. I cover it with a blanket to get more use out of it. Sams please offer an ergonomic chair that will last.

I purchased two of these chairs for each of my daughters this school year, as they are virtual students. The stitching on the seats have come apart after only 3 months of daily use, even with the use of seat covers (which were installed the day we assembled them). Their ages are 9 and 11, both are under 100 pounds. There is absolutely no excuse for the quality of these chairs to be this poor. I would not recommend these chairs.

I purchased two of these. In the store as well as the first few weeks they were good chairs. The first chair that I started having problems with was the one I gave to my daughter. At about 6 weeks after the purchase the seat just exploded. The leather started splitting, and within a couple days it was unusable. I returned the chair, and that one did the some thing. Her usage of this chair was four to five days a week up to 12 hours a day. The chair I purchased for myself just took longer because my usage was less. It started spliting and I made patches of the leather. Today is the day I will purchase a new chair, but not leather. The leather on these chairs is bonded leather. My suggestion is avoid any furniture from Serta with bonded leather.

Chair was easy to assemble. Chair sit very comfortable. This chair is replacing what looks like the same chair I bought from Sam's back in the 1990's . The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 stars is the tilt feature. There is a tilt feature by screwing a knob on the seat base to either tighten the tilt or loosen the tilt, but it's useless, there is only about 1/2 inch tilt, and I have to keep continuous back pressure to retain the tilt as the seat rocks back and forth, so I am basically sitting straight up at all times. I'm going to see if I can swap the old seat base with the new base on the new chair to remedy this problem. In my mind I would think they could come up with a better idea in 30 years. If the old seat base will not swap, I unfortunately will have to return the chair, not being able to lean back is unacceptable.

The quality on this chair is rather cheap. Assembly instructions were clear and didn't have any issues while assembling, probably one of the few positive things of this chair. Anyways, I've had it for about 2 months, and already it is squeaking, makes noises, and one of the armrests are loose, although I'm not sure why or how as I'm well under the weight limit. I've had it on a plastic mat, so it hasn't been exposed to any uneven weight distribution. Really disappointing overall. If you're looking to spend time in this chair, I'd pass, as you get what you pay for. If you need a cheap chair to simply look at to fill a room, then you can't go wrong. BUT if you want to actually use it to do office work, look elsewhere.

I've had this chair for about two years now. In the first year the fake leather cracked around the armrests and I returned it for another one. The second chair did hte exact same thing in the first year of owning that chair and I could not get Sam's Club to take it back. I'm now on year 2 of this same chair and the base seating area is also having the same issue. I cannot for the life of me figure out why there are so many positive reviews. These chairs should be banned as e-waste because they do not last very long and have to go to the landfill. Terrible, terrible, terrible quality. Run do not walk away from this chair!

I usually don't leave reviews, but some may need to be informed BEFORE buying this chair. IF you use this chair 8+ hours per day, don't expect it to last past 6 months. Upholstery coming off, chair leans to the left AND leans forward (almost feel like you're going to slide out of the front of the chair). There is NO way to adjust. It went to crap 6 months after purchase. Worst office chair I've EVER wasted my money on.....
