Initially sitting in the chair was a breath of fresh air. Nice support!! But once I had to sit in it for an 8 hour shift, I found lacking features. As another commenter mentioned, the seat feels too small. I’m 5’3 and just below mid calf, so I feel like I’m falling out of the chair. The seat and lumbar support give a tilting forward support that again gives the feel of falling out of the chair. When I have that free moment to lean back and relax, it can’t happen. The tilt tension is super strong. I have it as loose as possible and I have to use strength lean back and it won’t stay back without physically holding it back. Where’s the relaxing that?? After using the chair for 2-3 hours, my back is in pain from the forward tilt positioning and not being able to easily lean back to relax. It will be returned.

Based on reviews, I purchased the chair to replace my 20 year old home office chair. The chair arrive yesterday and assembled this morning. Assembly was easy. I am slow so to took about 20 minutes. After assembly, sat in chair to adjust height. The back leaned forward making it very uncomfortable. Attempted to adjust the back with no luck. The purchase was a waste of money. Gave the chair away to a friend. Probably this is the worst chair I ever owned.

Comfortable, good lower back support, reclines nicely, arms could have a bit more padding and material is decent but vinyl-like and doesn't breathe.

Easy to assemble

Best chair you can find anywhere for the price. I prefer high back chairs but this one is a "Serta" and is very comfortable. So pleased with the chair I now own three total (Office, Home office, Wife's craft room)

So very happy that I purchased this chair. It is so comfortable and easy to put together. Now that I have this chair I won't fall off it because it has arms . It is made very well and looks great in my office. The price of this chair is great.

Easy to build, high quality office chair. Hubby has been enjoying it as it was a Christmas gift to replace his old chair. Highly recommend, specially for the price point!

Great chair for the price. Cons: The chair will not tilt backwards, although we followed the instructions. The seat part makes it feel as though I'm slipping forward. Also, the seat feels uneven. I don't work at the computer all day, therefore I will keep it. If Serta would instruct how to get it to tilt, I would appreciate it, even though that doesn't even out the cushion.

Overall, for the price, the chair is by no means bad, but it simply does not work for me. I can possibly see this chair working for someone on the smaller and shorter side. When fully sitting in the chair and leaning back, it is a great chair with no complaints. However, the reality is that I spend maybe 10% of the time in the chair in that position, mainly when watching a video or something that does not require me to be active on the computer. When sitting in the chair upright, it feels like the chair is angled downward and I have to catch myself and hold my self with my feet, possibly due to the overly cushioned front. Also, my body is quite wide, and I can't always spread my legs out the way I'd like due to the armrests. This wouldn't have been an issue if they were actually adjustable, but you can't even get rid of them because they're integral to the structure of the back piece, because the bolts lock the armrests and back piece together for stability. Will be returning.

I purchase try at my office in place of a chair I’ve had for years. I needed Home with more support for my neck and my back. This one is very comfortable. It’s still new so if anything changes, I’ll post another review for right now, I like this chair a lot.
