Purchased this refrigerator in black stainless and while generally the finish looks great, it's not stainless steel but some sort of plastic cover. This cover is easily scratched, especially by the crisper drawers which bump the outer side of the right refrigerator door when the door is open. Also, the ice maker is very slow to produce ice. We're a two-person household so usually it's enough but we always have to buy a bag of ice if we're going to entertain. I've been unable to find touch up paint to match the black stainless and Samsung support has been unhelpful. I would purchase Samsung appliances again but not in the black stainless finish.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few weeks ago and so far have been very impressed. It feels like it has a larger capacity than the equivalent LG we had before with more shelves in the door. One design flaw is that the water dispenser is at the front of the opening for ice and not at the back, thus unless you have a very wide cup you have to press the back plate with your hand and hold the cup closer to you, to prevent spillage. I am gobsmacked that they didn’t fix this during testing! I can’t talk to the reliability yet. I do have my concerns having read some reviews. The one other issue is the blue thin plastic water line that you connect to in the rear is very easily kinked which will prevent the ice and water dispenser working. I held in place with tape to prevent it. Also it doesn’t look the most durable. This is likely the cause of water leak issues I’ve seen reported.

Not so good. Remember latest does not mean the Best..... While I like Samsung as a brand, I think buying this refrigerator was not the best decision. I liked the slick exterior design and simple shelf arrangement. But Samsung disregarded several basic features. So many people have mentioned the poor lighting. It is definitely an issue…it is definitely an issue. If the refrigerator is empty (90 to 100%), then you won’t notice the poor lighting. But once shelves are filled 40 to 50%, you won’t see the stuff on the shelf. Poor lighting design and cost cutting measure by Samsung. I am thinking to buy a separate LED light and install it myself. How and When? I don’t know. It is on my list. 2nd annoying thing is dripping water from outlet. This is definitely a flaw in this refrigerator. After you take out the water, there is at least one or two drops of water in the tray. I keep a paper towel in the tray every day to soak the water. 3rd annoying thing- Ice outlet is just too big. It gives you ice everywhere (including on the kitchen floor) except the cup. It just throws ice cubes or pieces everywhere. Every time you have to clean up the floor when you take ice out. My expectations are basic. Aren’t they? Am I asking too much?

per the samsung rep, this makes 120 ice cubes/ day, thats 5 ice cube per/hr. so the storage capacity is small. the ice dispenser lags, need to give it breaks in between filling up an 8oz cup. the fingerprint resistance dont work, even after washing your hands. save your money and get a regular fridge. we decided on this fridge ,because of how sleek it looked and the fingerprint resistant. we bought a samsung washer and dryer,on the same day as the fridge. hopefully the washer and dryer features, it says it has, actually exist. there was no incentive to buy all samsung. we chose samsung because we assumed the appliances would be like the samsung phone technology,exceptional features and quality

The door bins are big enough to fit large items like two gallons of milk or a few two liter soda and so much more.The fingerprint resistant makes it makes a huge difference with the ease of cleaning off prints or smudges,The interior led lighting is perfectly balanced for a great all around illumination. The freezer also has a drawer perfect to store franks or sausages The freezer has more than enough space to hold all thatI need,The ice maker has the selection of cubed ice or crushed ice I am so happy and a proud owner of a Samsung refrigerator.

Fantastic design and even roomier than I had imagined. It holds a lot of beverages in different types of containers and the different spaces are very accommodating. Highly Recommend. This is our 6th Samsung product and we will always look for them when buying any appliance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to move freely on my floor. The solid doors make it very steady for use. It is very difficult to see hand marks on the body. The opening feels easily accessible on both side of the door. The control are easily seen. Ice bucket is easily movable without any hassle if you have to.

I've been really happy with this refrigerator so far. Everything stays evenly chilled without any weird warm spots. It also does a fantastic job with frost prevention. The noise level is very quiet! Overall, it's a solid, reliable appliance that has plenty of storage.

I've been using this refrigerator since 2023 and have had no issues so far. My only minor complaint is that the drinking water from the dispenser isn't as cold as I'd like. Also, flushing the water filter after replacing it is a bit of a pain, but I believe that's the case with most refrigerators.

The main problem with the unit is that the display panel, which controls temperature settings and the freezer on/off is difficult to use. Rather than a knob which only has to be turned to change settings, the panel requires holding a button for three seconds before you can make the adjustments. It has taken a month and I finally got there by trial and error, but the new settings will have to stay. The online user manual does not say where the coils which have to be cleaned are located, or if it even has coils! The manual says not to remove the bottom rear panel. It would also be nice if the interior shelves and door shelves could be adjusted to different heights.
