[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Resisted buying a new refrigerator for three years. Wasn’t a fan of water and ice dispenser in the door. Finally had to buy a new one. Love the new Samsung! Love the water and ice dispenser in the door! It is well built snd has so much more room than the old one. Wish I had done this years ago.

i've had this refrigerator for less than a year and am on my 2nd service call for the same issue- the refrigerator is freezing my food with the temperature set to 37 deg f. the 1st time, the technician could not locate a problem with the diagnostic tools, so he just replaced the computer. he also suggested i get a surge protector for the fridge in case a power surge may have caused the issue. i did. it worked for a couple of months, and now the same thing is happening again. after reading reviews, this is an ongoing issue for multiple customers and samsung is not fixing the issue. i called the customer service line and found that the warranty is a repair warranty only.

samsung has been unresponsive and refuses to provide help or a refund. the "10-year warranty" isn't worth the ink or sticker it's printed on. no help from samsung will ever come, since they already have our money. terrible product, even worse service! if you decide to roll the dice, just know that no one from samsung cares about you or your warranty! it's all a lie.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brilliant design, Samsung! We love this gorgeous, side-by-side. The stainless black is beautiful & easy to clean outside and in! The interior design optimizes the usage of space & function for easy access and specialized storage to maintain freshness. The exterior water/ice was a cinch to plumb in, quickly makes & refills (TONS of) ice while keeping hydration at our fingertips! Simple installation is a major bonus! The adjustable shelving & bins accommodate special events where we have varying sized items. The removable bins make keeping the interior tidy as well as clean an absolute breeze. One thing that was a pleasant surprise is how lightweight the doors feel to open/close. Odd, I know, but it's wonderful to not yank on a heavy door! Since we eat LOADS of fresh veggies, our favorite thing is the humidity controlled bins that keep vegetable and fruit at the optimal humidity and temperature to stay fresh longer. And the LED lighting... so easy on the eyes but bright and well placed so everything is easy to find! Overall, we are so pleased with our new Samsung Refrigerator! It provides simple, beautiful joy!

Refrigerator maintains temperature well. Plenty of room but the small ice bin is troublesome. A family of four or more likely would not appreciate this. The extra ice bin I keep in the freezer eliminates the benefit of the space-saver ice bin. The outside walls are fingerprint-resistant but the doors are not which seems strange. Also, there is no light at the door water and ice dispenser. This is a bit irritating. Overall, it is a good refrigerator. There are just a few options that I did not consider carefully enough before buying.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Samsung Black Stainless Steel side by side Refrigerator is the best side by side with water, crushed and cubed ice I’ve had. It has the most room in it than any refrigerator I’ve ever had. When you open it up it’jhbbbhhs very bright so you can see everything on inside. The door racks are big plenty of room for larger things. Has a digital temperature gage on the inside edge nicely lit. Also has a beeping sound if left opened longer than it should. I have one small problem with the water and ice dispenser you have to have your hand behind the glass or it misses the glass and goes all over the place instead of the glass pushing on the switch a little awkward Is all.

We've had this refrigerator for roughly 3 years. The ice maker has been terrible from day one. The ice doesn't come out of the tray which causes leakage inside the freezer which ices up and them jams up the ice maker. We've had to thaw everything out several times and have finally just turned the ice maker off to avoid the ice all over the inside of our freezer. In addition, the ice maker has always been extremely slow. Takes forever to get a cup of ice. Also, there is no light on the outside, so when filling a cup at night, youre doing it blind. Extremely poor design. Would not buy again.

I love my new fridge but I wish the ice maker would produce more ice at a quicker rate. Also smudge proof isn't exactly smudge proof but I wouldn't change a thing. Great product. Great price. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brought this refrigerator to replace a 12 year old Kenmore. Love the stainless finish, and huge capacity, 27 cu ft vs 22 cu ft. Matches perfectly with the rest of the kitchen appliances. so far working flawlessly, keeps temp setting (verified with separate thermometer). ice maker produces adequate amt for the two of us.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have now had about 1 week to use and get to know our new samsung fridge. Had there been an option for 4.5 stars, that is what i would have chosen. The deduction in one half point is primarily due to the type of ice/water dispenser on this model. You can get your water by simply pressing your glass up against the sensor. However, you must press with your free hand, the ice mechanism in order to get your ice. Not a big issue but it just means you need a free hand when getting your ice. As it stands, it has most all the needed and desired ingredients which include a whole lot of space! Compared to my old fridge, there is so much more room and compartments to organize and store all of our food. Our household consists of four adults, so we have lots of food that gets stored in our fridge and the extra space was just what we needed. This new fridge also has a water and ice machine on the outside, which our old fridge did not. It's so nice to be able to get filtered water right from our fridge without having to install a bunch of items on our regular faucet. Thank you Samsung for making a beautiful piece of equipment with all the added features of space and convenience that we needed.
