There is ample room to keep food neatly organized. It holds plenty food for a family with kids. Some of the features I like most are the door alarm, fingerprint resistant doors, temperature display and uniform cooling. I love that I can easily see through the storage bins. The squarish shaped ice cubes are unique. The refrigerator offers the flexibility of cubed or crushed ice. The icemaker keeps up with our demand. The ice bin is easy to empty. No more worries about food safety due to the doors being left opened with the alarm. The door bins are generous. A very convenient feature is the sliding shelves, makes it easier to clean and reach items in back. The interior light is just right, not too bright especially when opening the door in the dark. The recessed door handle eliminates a bulky handle sticking out and creates a clean line. I've gotten so many compliments on the refrigerator. I love it, it's like a work of art.

the first criteria i had was storage capacity, followed closely by price. storage capacity is huge, with the perfect balance of square footage between the fridge & freezer. side-beside refrigerators are no longer so popular, but are a far more efficient use of space, especially in the freezer vs the pull-out drawer type, which waste a ton of space accommodating sliding drawers etc. samsung's stainless steel finish has a richness & depth to it that no other brand comes close to, & this combined with this appliances design aesthetic made it a simple choice for me. pro's huge capacity simple, elegant design door mounted ice maker deep freeze setting -8°f excellent interior lighting cold air circulation con's needs 1 more shelf in fridge no lighting over ice/water dispenser

Good refrigerator. Ice maker is too small. The water dispenser is ridiculous! You have to either have a super wide mouth glass/cup to catch the water as it comes out of the dispenser. No way to know this at the store without a water hookup. You have to hold the glass out away from the back and push the dispenser area with your hand. There's no built in lighting mechanism to show you how full your glass is in the dark! I purchased two battery powered door key illuminators with double faced tape and stuck them up on the sides of the dispenser. They look like they belong there and work better than nothing. Cubed ice comes out basically crushed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had my last Samsumg side-by-side fridge for a decade before I got this new one, and it's wild how much better the fridge design is now! The water dispenser area is now big enough to fit our sports bottles, and we now have ice AND water from the same dispenser! Plus, with the ice now in the door, there is waaay more space in the freezer. Actually, this fridge DOES feel roomier, and all in the same amount of space our old fridge took up. I am so satisfied! Looking forward to this next decade with my new Samsung fridge. :)

This was purchased as a replacement for our RF28HFEDBSR/AA which had it's ice maker break out of warranty and Samsung wanted us to fix it on our dime, that fridge is now under a class action suit and Samsung are replacing them because of the bad ice maker design. Well this differently designed ice maker comes with a very similar issue, it is also unusable just out of warranty and again it's on us to take on the burden of repair, yet unfortunately this one isn't under the lawsuit so I am left appealing to Samsung to do the right thing and get us a working fridge. They stopped even putting in door ice dispensers in new models because the airflow causes issues with them yet I have to pay for a repair which clearly won't solve a design issue.

all the issues you read about on the single start reviewers are overblown. leaks, frost, ice maker, etc. the fridge works as intended. thinking that artic temperatures will make the fridge work better is misleading; only high energy consumption is achieved. keep your freezer in the low single digit but not below zero and your fridge size on the 40's; it works wonderful, and if there is high demand for ice well buy an ice machine, this ice makers were never intended for large amount of people.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So we've had the fridge for about a month now and all I can say is that I am completely satisfied with the new fridge. Samsung has done an impressive job with this new fridge with the new no protruding handle model. The handles are built into the edge of doors with grooves that eliminate the need to install door handles after delivery. Also the way Samsung has created it's new full visibility shelving system with tempered glass and slim edges, you can see exactly where everything is right away. And because everything is so slim, adjusting and sliding the shelves up and down is so easy to do. Also, I love the extra wide door shelves. I can fit everything from gallon size milk to 2 liter bottles with ease and plenty of space to put even more. What an awesome fridge.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has been a great purchase. Lots of room to store for a large family. Great styling and always looks clean because it’s fingerprint resistant. Only minus is that the icemaker doesn’t make ice fast enough.

my boyfriend and i moved into our home last november. the sellers had left their appliances for us. one being this fridge. all in all, this is a pretty good fridge. the ice maker is awful. it creates quite a bit of ice but then there seems to be something causing it to melt and become one big chuck, therefore, not allowing ice to come down into your cup. we've checked the seal by doing the "pour water down the ice chute to make sure there are no leaks. none. not one drop. also, the fridge may be fingerprint resistant, but don't put anything on the front of it. we had several different types of magnets on in and if they move "at all" you get tiny scratches all over it. now the front of our fridge is all scratched up.
