Not so good. Remember latest doesn't mean the Best
Not so good. Remember latest does not mean the Best..... While I like Samsung as a brand, I think buying this refrigerator was not the best decision. I liked the slick exterior design and simple shelf arrangement. But Samsung disregarded several basic features. So many people have mentioned the poor lighting. It is definitely an issue…it is definitely an issue. If the refrigerator is empty (90 to 100%), then you won’t notice the poor lighting. But once shelves are filled 40 to 50%, you won’t see the stuff on the shelf. Poor lighting design and cost cutting measure by Samsung. I am thinking to buy a separate LED light and install it myself. How and When? I don’t know. It is on my list. 2nd annoying thing is dripping water from outlet. This is definitely a flaw in this refrigerator. After you take out the water, there is at least one or two drops of water in the tray. I keep a paper towel in the tray every day to soak the water. 3rd annoying thing- Ice outlet is just too big. It gives you ice everywhere (including on the kitchen floor) except the cup. It just throws ice cubes or pieces everywhere. Every time you have to clean up the floor when you take ice out. My expectations are basic. Aren’t they? Am I asking too much?

Great space and quality

Reliability
had this refrigerator for 3 months before the compressor fails. it took a service tech 2 weeks to investigate. now another 1.5 weeks to order the compressor. so nearly a flipping month without a refrigerator!!!! a toaster, tv or microwave failure we could live without for a couple weeks. a dead refrigerator means no cold food storage!! and no urgency on samsung’s behalf to resolve a critical appliance!!! i purchased a $50 30-year old refrigerator for my son 7 years ago and it still runs flawlessly. what do i get for this $1500 purchase? a dead refrigerator with little care of getting it resolved! i”ll consider this an expensive lesson to never buy samsung again!! your service is pathetic!!!!

Overall pretty good machine
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall pretty good machine. However, the Ice and water dispenser could be configured a little bit better. I find it becoming a bit of a messy space. Constantly having wipe it down and pick up chunks of ice. Also I haven’t had the fridge for a year and the Samsung Label is beginning to fall off the fridge.

A water filter is included and has a digital display with a showing of the temperature of the freezer and refrigerator. I recommend It 100%.
Ice Maker is Ridiculously Slow
the ice maker is ridiculous. followed all troubleshooting steps and was told by the tech that it can take up to 3 days for the ice maker to fill the bin. this is completely unexpectedly slow and much slower than our older refrigerator that this one replaced. very disappointing!

Ice Maker is a no go.....
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this about 3 weeks ago. My old fridge had an ice maker issue, so my wife wanted a new fridge..Plenty of space, stays really cold. Bad part..the ice maker makes 2 pounds of ice. The ice maker will not make any more ice until you use the 2 pounds (about 3 large glasses). The manual suggest you empty the 2 pounds into a bag so it can make 2 more pounds. Very slow in dispensing the ice and very loud. Other than that...Great.

Great look decent features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been using from few months. Pro's: cooling is superfast, looks great in the kitchen, does it all it supposed to at an temperature set. Have just enough space inside. Cooling is superfast. Minor Con's: Ice cubes water dispenser function works but drips after dispensed, needs a soaking pad under the dispenser. Some controls doesn't have enough directions but takes time to understand. Hard to open the doors sometimes Overall good for daily.
DO NOT BUY
bought the refrigerator 5/3/2020. after two months the ice maker froze up. had to thaw it out. then the freezer was causing freezer burn on everything. after about 6 months the ice maker froze up again. we figured out you can’t do the crushed ice. can only do regular. very disappointing since one of the reasons we bought it was for the crushed ice. on 5/25/2021 refrigerator and freezer go out completely. only had for one year. bought the extended warranty on it. it is now 6/18 and the issues to get it fixed is ridiculous. i do not recommend this.

More space. No adjustable shelves. Ice maker too s
I bought this about 2 weeks ago. It is definitely has more space than our previous side by side. The ice maker is too small for my liking. Now I have to take up room in my freezer with icecube trays. I don't like the fact you cannot adjust the shelves. I make a lot of cold brew French press coffee and there is no room for my French press.
