Disappointing quality. Another unhappy owner

We have had this refrigerator-freezer for a year and a half and the freezer is quitting on us. Like others here, we have many other Samsung electronics and rave about them. We expected similar quality from their appliances and this item is a dud. Right now the freezer only maintains 20deg (F) - frige is OK for now, so, we are moving everything to another freezer (older, different brand - works great). I have other refrigeration and freezing appliances that are 20 and 30-years old that never gave us a problem. Given current technologies, why can't Samsung build and sell something with similar quality?

Largest, beautiful and modern Refrigerator.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] HelioRuiz. Excellent price for a large refrigerator, the interior is clean with an easy view of the product inside. A water filter is included and has a digital display with a showing of the temperature of the freezer and refrigerator. I recommend It 100%.

Excellent refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love my new refrigerator. There is so much room in both the refrigerator and freezer sides. I love that there is extra storage in the doors on both sides. There are drawers in the refrigerator and freezer sides to store even more. The temperature is super easy to set. Just a simple push of the button to adjust it. The temperature is displayed so there is no guessing. One of the best features is the door alarm. It let's me know if someone hasn't shut the door all the way or if someone is just standing there taking forever to decide what they want. The fingerprint resistant design is amazing. I'm not having to wipe off fingerprints every time I turn around. The automatic ice and water dispenser make life so much easier. My son can get ice without making a mess now. I love how it looks clean and well made. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Reliability

had this refrigerator for 3 months before the compressor fails. it took a service tech 2 weeks to investigate. now another 1.5 weeks to order the compressor. so nearly a flipping month without a refrigerator!!!! a toaster, tv or microwave failure we could live without for a couple weeks. a dead refrigerator means no cold food storage!! and no urgency on samsung’s behalf to resolve a critical appliance!!! i purchased a $50 30-year old refrigerator for my son 7 years ago and it still runs flawlessly. what do i get for this $1500 purchase? a dead refrigerator with little care of getting it resolved! i”ll consider this an expensive lesson to never buy samsung again!! your service is pathetic!!!!

Disappointed in freezer bin

The freezer door comes with 3 spots for bins only 2 are included.. I called to get the missing one and was told 2 times it would be sent to me. A few weeks later I got an email from claims saying it was not included. I emailed him back twice willing to pay for it. I never got a response. I called Samsung again to purchase this bin and they couldn't find the part.. There are notches at the bottom of the freezer door for a third bin but the two other bins do not fit in the bottom. Samsung then told me to call parts . After a lot of searching the gentleman told me he could not find this bin. I don't understand how you can make a freezer door with notches for a third bin but not make the third bin to fit it.

STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!!! NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY!!!

This is the worst fridge I've ever own. The ice make broke 1 month after the warranty expired and Samsung refuses to cover it, even though the ice maker is a known issue and Samsung has faced several lawsuits over thier ice makers. They want to charge me hundreds of dollars to replace it. Before the ice maker broke, I had to make the freezer as cold as it would go just to get more than a cup of ice to be made in a day. I will never buy another Samsung product after my experience with this fridge, appliance or electronic. Samsung lost a customer for life by refusing to fix their faulty ice makers.

I got this today and will be returning it right back you can not speak to someone that doesn't understand and the service team with Samsung is poor. I had a LG Refrigerator for 10 years and never had any problems with. I will be going back to them. I wouldn't recomme Samsung to anyone.

High value for price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced a 10 yr old Electrolux French door with this model Samsung. We find it easier to organize food in the freezer over the bottom drawer we had before. This unit is sleek and modern with no handles which makes it appear a higher end unit. Plenty of space for all our usual inventory of food. Only disappointments are no deli drawer (Which we knew before purchasing) and no dispenser light which is listed as a feature but does not in fact have. Ice maker is great but having a hard time keeping up with us in the summer season (we use a lot of ice).

Decent but room for improvement

bought at the height of the pandemic when my ge fridge died. things i like: the looks, the color and how quiet it is. things i don't like: black "stainless" looks awesome but is beginning to flake off, ice maker is impossible to use without having ice everywhere, no light on door, shelves are not adjustable, and recently noticed that the doors get rather warm on the outside which affects the ice maker by melting refreezing and then getting jammed

I did not like at all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the refrigerator 2 months ago, and came damage it from inside. Came with a lot small holes.. When I tried to exchanged Samsung r. told me; I should returned between the 14 days period. I was not aware of that't. After that, I contacted the warranty that I bought it, from them, and they told me they cannot help me, only after 1 year of purchase. So at the ended ending with a damage appliance.
