I no longer have a problem with the kids leaving their trash around. They are more than happy to take it to the can. Having this trash can makes life in the kitchen so easy because you can throw something like chicken packaging away and get right back to prepping your chicken without worrying about contaminating items or having to wash dirty trash can lids germs off your hands. The sensor is a little sensitive at times. You can be quite a bit away from it and it will open up. It really is a great product. The small can is nice to have but doesn't get used as much as my kitchen trash can.

This is, BY FAR, one of the best trash cans I've ever owned. It is quality-made and cleans easily with a damp cloth. I have owned this trash can for several years now and it still only needs one wave of the hand to open the lid. Do yourself a favor and buy it.

Cans themselves are of good size and durability for what is to be expected....the 'lids' however seem to be pretty cheaply made and the openings for you to deposit your tash are a little smaller than I would like. They require quite a few batteries and I am not sure how long the battery life will be. Over all I am satisfied and with the comments above would still recommend them to a friend.

Was really excited about this trash can set. Upon unboxing we found a really great looking trash can, but then inserted the batteries to find the motion sensor DOES NOT WORK AT ALL. We have tried all kinds of movement, taken the batteries out. Nothing. Works just fine when pressing the open close buttons but not why we bought this. Again, it’s gorgeous but we will probably move on to a different brand once we get this all returned.

I Love this trash can, BUT I lost the batteries compartment cover, it fall in the bag with my batteries together, I didn’t notice until my trash bag was gone, that’s bad because batteries needs to be safety disposed for the environment good and you need the cover to use the trash can. Before this happened to me, I recommend this trash can to my sister-in-law and she also lost their cover too. NINE STAR you need to improve the batteries compartment cover or location. I still recommend this trash can but maybe you can put tape to secure the batteries cover.

I gave this a 3 star instead of a 1 because it is partially my fault that I don’t like this product. It does not have a bucket it is only the stainless steel and you drop a bag in there and it has a little guard going around the top to hopefully hold it in place. I thought about sending it back but I didn’t want to full with the return process. I am going to keep an eye on it but my fear is dropping wet stuff in the trash (uneaten plate of spaghetti) and it dripping out of the bottom of the bag and messing the can up. I have had this happen before with the plastic trashcans so I know what I am talking about, just don’t know if it will come across right

but it works. especially if you have a lazy boyfriend that only takes the trash out on his terms rather than when it's overflowing. fortunately with 21 spacious gallons of room for our ridiculous amount of waste, we merely fill it up every 4 days rather than daily. 》》thanksNinestars.USA you've changed my life!

I love these bins. Even in a small, cottage-type kitchen of WW2 vintage-era, they are nicely-rounded, not square-edged, it's a small deal for some, but I have MS. I find that point invaluable, one more thing I need, but won't bump against and bruise! Square edged bins have sharp and unforgiving corners. In every other way, these are super sleek, the lid operation is so handy, and remains undisturbed by normal foot traffic. A bonus was the fwo=fer. Great deal, happy camper!

Only real negative remark is this, the larger of the 2 uses C size batteries ( 3 ) , so much for buying all those D size. Works well, no miscues, dumping dirty plates is great. Really seals trash odors in super well with a plastic liner. 30 gal size liner last me 2.5 weeks of yuk.

Inspect the Box it comes in for Dings, because when I took my out of the Box, it had a couple of Mashed in dings. Fortunately I was able to Pop the 1 big one back into place, but there is still 1 little ding I couldn't pop out. Wherever you place it, make sure it's not a place where People walk by it all the Time, for it WILL open up when you Do walk by--Every Time!
