Only real negative remark is this, the larger of the 2 uses C size batteries ( 3 ) , so much for buying all those D size. Works well, no miscues, dumping dirty plates is great. Really seals trash odors in super well with a plastic liner. 30 gal size liner last me 2.5 weeks of yuk.

The downfall with this trash can is that it uses batteries and doesnt use a ac adapter. Also it opens with it wants to not when u need it to. The sensor is really messed up. I think its a light issue but im not sure. Also the on and off switch is in the trash can. Not a good look. Buyer beware.

Looks nice, although the brand name label on the small can is relatively huge. However: the status light on the lid of the 13-gallon can blinks continuously to let you know that everything is okay. Ordered it online, picked it up, brought it home, put batteries in it (which was easy), said "huh", verified in the enclosed documents that the blinking is normal, removed the batteries, and repackaged it. Will be returning tomorrow morning. I didn't even take it completely out of the plastic bag.

After having for roughly two months, the small bathroom trash can, has started to rust along the front, from steamy shower. 3 weeks ago the lifting part of the lid broke. While I was wiping it down. Seems like ok quality. When recieved In the long run. Its crappy and pointless purchase. Now I am on the hunt for a new set

I bought this November of last year, so it is still within warranty. After several failed attempts in reaching someone via email, I began calling customer service but only got to the voicemail. It has proven to be a struggle trying to get help in order to resolve this issue. I provided the information that was requested of me, after which, I could not seem to get any further assistance. I sent emails on 8/1, 8/7, 8/13, 8/20, 8/23 & 8/26. I received troubleshooting instructions which did not work, so I received another email advising to provide the following, along with proof of purchase in order to have my lid replaced, which is still under warranty by the way: -Full Name -Phone Number -Complete Address -Unit's Model Number -Description of Issue I provided all information on 8/13, but did not hear anything further, even after 2 more emails requesting further assistance. I also sent a message through the “contact us” on the website, but nothing! I have called several times, only to get the voicemail that is full and not able to receive messages. This started out as a great product, but the poor customer service is just horrible.

Impulse Purchase five years ago and I had buyers remorse. But then after 5 years of using the lid gave in and the motor doesn’t work. This is the first such a kind of a trash bin and the best thing that is useful every moment and the purchase of most value. Buy it when you can!

We purchased these on the Black Friday sale for a great price. They are great. They work as advertised. I use batteries that are intended for digital devices that way they last longer. You can use the automatic lid or turn the can off and leave the lid open if you are working and have a lot of trash to dispose of and don't want to keep opening and closing the lid. Great value considering you get 2 for the price of one.

I bought this because my Lab couldn't always resist the temptation of helping herself to leftovers that were dumped out. One night she got a mouth full of tooth picks and we almost had to take her to the Vet hospital! She finally let us yank all of them out and she recovered very well...But the scare of it all!!!! I ordered this the next day and had it here in 3 days. Excellent product, looks great and works great. It is tall enough that she can't even see down inside of it when the lid is open. She has NOT accidently tripped the sensor which I was a little worried about. In fact, it holds the food odor in so well that she doesn't even have an interest in it. I love, love, love this set of cans and would definately recommend them to anyone and everyone! Keeping my dog safe is an added bonus...Thanks for a great product!!!

Mixed reviews within the household, but overall we are pleased with the purchase and would recommend to family and friends. Instructions were easy to follow when setting up cans. They for perfectly in the kitchen and goes well with the decor. We use the other in the bathroom. The only thing is sometimes it's very sensitive and other times it had been known to close on you while you're still scraping your plate or automatically opens when you pass by. So I'm wondering how long the batteries will last.

I love these trash cans lol. I was tired of the plastic ones with the top that doesn't want to lift always and you end up touching and fussing with it. Not to mention the plastic one wasn't exactly 13 gallons and I felt like I was wasting trash bags. Not n e more with these cuties. I know now that whenever its time to empty the trash can that the bag is truly full. These keep the odor down... great thing cuz my place is very small and space is limited. Now visitors r impressed and not thrown off by garbage odor. FYI: the bigger can takes 3 C batteries I think and the small one takes 3 D batteries. I'm using cheap dollar store batteries and Im impressed by how long they last. I havent changed the batteries since I've owned the product and its been maybe a month now.
