I love the motion sensor trash can! It is easy to use with a large capacity. When you have your hands full of trash and don't have one free to lift a lid this trash can is awesome. Just stand in front of it and the lid lifts automatically. Changing the trash bag is a breeze. It has stayed in place with no problems so far. As far as the soap dispenser (from another review), there is an on/off switch located on the bottom. If you turn it on it works great. The hands free dispenser is fun to use and my toddler loves to wash his hands.

I love it looks great and the sensor works almost to well. My only complaint is that it should have come with batteries already. It requires 2 different size batteries C and D and I don't usually have those laying around so I had to go out an buy them.

I love both of my Nine Stars automatic opening trash cans. Not only are they pretty enough for company (a must for my husband's family# but they work remarkably well. Now when my hands are messy, I don't have to touch the waste can on the kitchen counter to put in anything so I don't have to wash my hands again so soon. #I wash my hands constantly while cooking and any time I don't have to is a great help). I keep the bigger can in the utility room and again, not having to touch the can is a life-saver because I can hold the lint trap from the dryer in one hand and drop the lint with the other. So, in all, I love these cans because they're pretty, they function wonderfully and I don't have to listen to 'anybody' complain that they know trash exists, they just don't want to look at it.

Originally purchased the set for the tall one to be the kitchen, main kitchen trashcan, and the smaller one I was gonna give my son to take a take to his new dorm. Room away in college turned out, did not fit in the under the sink in a spot for the trashcan so my son ended up, taking them both with him to his new college dorm room, and even his friends are raving and giving like amazing reviews about this set as they say it it saved them from being buried under the trash, L O L.

This product was good for about 5 months. Then the lid began to malfunction, constantly opening without any inputs. After communicating with Nine Stars for about a month, I returned the lid at my own expense. They cannot be reached by email or phone and have not even returned my defective lid. Stay away from this company and their products.

I love the Motion Sensor Garbage Bag for its convenience. When I dont need the sensor I can simply turn the powe off and use without. I love washing my hands while in the kitchen while cooking or cleaning and the Multipurpose Soap Dispenser takes care of this need.

I am 62 years old. i got tired of buying the cheap plastic cans at Lowes, etc. i found myself buying about 3 per year at $25 per pop. bc they tear up so often. Buy the nine stars trash can. Been using it now for 1 and a half years. Love it! Still using same batteries after 1.5 years. The liner works great! The trash can looks brand new on the inside after a year and a half of use in a family of five. Will never buy the plastic crap again. Do not hesitate to buy this trash can. You will never regret it. I'd give it 10 stars if it were an option.

What a great deal. For $49.99 I expected just the large stainless steel trash can. I wasn't reading the whole add, just happy for that price. But when I got the package I was surprised that it came with a small one too. On top of it the lids are motion sensored. What a deal.... Since most large stainless steel trash cans are $80 and up.

I'm really happy with my purchase. It look fabulous and makes my kitchen really stand out. When people come over just make sure to warn them how it works before hand. When I have people over they are always trying to open it or can't figure it out"lol" Once I show them how it works they are really impressed and are amazed. We have had it for about 6 months and use it quite frequently and only have had to change out battery once. The only & do mean only downfall for me is that it takes a little longer to open then I would like it to "since I'm always in a hurry" I like thing to move fast as I do but overall it is a great product... You will love it!~

They look great and function well. Sometimes if you need to have the lid open for longer than just throwing something in the trash it will try and close on you which is annoying. Like if you are clearing food out of a pan or something like that. Biggest complaint i have is the mismatch in battery types. The large cans use "C" batteries, why do the little cans use "D" batteries? Seriously, just make them use the same battery type so i don't have to go purchase two different types of batteries. And really the lid on the small can is pretty lightweight does it really need "D" batteries? I haven't needed a "D" battery in ages, nothing I own uses them except for this now.
