Love this trash can- it works great and looks even better. The small trash can that comes with it is also good- a few draw backs- you can't put a trash can liner in it due to way the basket is constructed and the small trash can uses 4 D batteries and the large can- 3 C batteries.... doesn't make a lot of sense.

I ordered this online as no stores near me carried it. It arrived in the 5 days promised in its factory packaging. When I opened it the side was dented, so I popped it out but it left a couple of noticable creases. The instructions say not to return it to WalMart but to call the manufacturer. I have called and called and called, left messages after messages. I havent heard a word........

I really like the trash can & it's sensor opening. Great when your hands are full & you don't want to press a button. You do have to think about the location you want to put it in. My husband and son set the sensor off quite frequently when not needed. We had family and friends over soon after getting the trash can & everyone was "impressed and amazed" by it! It looks nice also, much better than the old, dirty can we had before.

This trash can is the second one of this type that I've purchased. I never realized how many times I go to throw something away where I'm unable to open the lid because my hands are dirty or full with several items. Having the lid open and close automatically is so helpful.

I love both of my Nine Stars automatic opening trash cans. Not only are they pretty enough for company (a must for my husband's family# but they work remarkably well. Now when my hands are messy, I don't have to touch the waste can on the kitchen counter to put in anything so I don't have to wash my hands again so soon. #I wash my hands constantly while cooking and any time I don't have to is a great help). I keep the bigger can in the utility room and again, not having to touch the can is a life-saver because I can hold the lint trap from the dryer in one hand and drop the lint with the other. So, in all, I love these cans because they're pretty, they function wonderfully and I don't have to listen to 'anybody' complain that they know trash exists, they just don't want to look at it.

After 2-mo of infrequent use both lids have become inoperable. We were truly impressed with the quick and soft opening/closing of the lids when they were working. Replaced the batteries on both units but still not working. Company requires you to PAY for shipping the broken unit for replacement (that would be around $45 for both on shipping!!). This has been a bad purchase for us and would suggest others to avoid buying this product. We still use them but it is very inconvenient to do so - you have to grab, pull & hold the lid with one hand (it will not stay FULLY open if let go) and use your other hand to throw in the trash. The point? A $10 waste basket works more efficiently (just push down a notch/lever/button and the lid opens and stays open, and you can now use both hands to dispose off the trash). Other than the functionality of the lids, this product is well made and looks great.

I love the motion sensor trash can! It is easy to use with a large capacity. When you have your hands full of trash and don't have one free to lift a lid this trash can is awesome. Just stand in front of it and the lid lifts automatically. Changing the trash bag is a breeze. It has stayed in place with no problems so far. As far as the soap dispenser (from another review), there is an on/off switch located on the bottom. If you turn it on it works great. The hands free dispenser is fun to use and my toddler loves to wash his hands.

I loved the first set I bought for the kitchen/bathroom, that I bought another one for my office/sewing room. Excellent quality, a much better deal than any other on the market.(I did a lot of research!) Solidly made, just put the batteries in and forget it, it opens at the wave of a finger. Batteries in my first set are still going strong.

great price! they look good and so far the tall one has been working well. response to motion is good and so far haven't had the issue of it closing on me may be that I have not yet needed to stay in front long enough. Have been using for about a month and have not yet had to replace the batteries. They arrived in great condition. I have not yet started using the small one.

Order Number: 2677290-26444 The Trash Cans arrived Yesterday. I was sent a repackaged Product, which I Normally wouldn't mind, but there is a Dent in the large Can. If the Dent was in the Back I would Have No Problem, but the Dent is in the Front. Walmart should have inspected this product before Shipping. This should have been Identified as a second, and price as a a product with a minor defect. DFP
