I am so happy with my stainless Steel garbage cans. It's so awesome to throw something way and your hand motions for the lid to automatically open!!!!! Everyone who comes to my house are amazed by this.. sometimes I just throw something away to amuse myself .... stylish,and excellent quality... all you need is to purchase the batteries and your in there!!!

well so far so good.it has survived my 3 yr old sons magic shows.lol.after numerous times of him shutting against the mechanism it is still working strong.I really like the idea of being able to use my normal 13 gallon trash bags vs some more pricey cans which require their own special sized bags you have to purchase.quite handy and stays nice and clean due to no contact and amazingly does keep odors at bay.overall im happy so far.

I have to say that THIS trash can is the NICEST garbage can that I have EVER had! I LOVE the fact that it is a motion sensor and I dont ever have to touch the can! Its just a Brilliant product and its quality and price is GREAT! I would DEFINATELY RECOMMEND this product :)

These 2 garbage cans work exactly like advertised and open automatically when you wave your hand above them. Just have 4 C batteries on hand for the larger one and 4 D's for the small one. Yes, seems backward, but the larger one takes C's while the smaller one takes D's.

These trash cans are so convenient, easy to use and a cinch to set up (simply pop in the batteries). Never have to get my hands dirty again, not even when I change out the trash bags. Everyone that comes over (even the grownups) are amazed and play with these cans all day. All my family and friends want to get a set.

I purchased this trash can ensemble to replace one that stopped working after 5 years. I love these automatic trash cans. They look so nice in the kitchen. They are conversation pieces when friends and family visit. I hope this one lasts as long as the last one.

After reading all the reviews I decided to purchase this item. Great value, very reasonable priced. Look beautiful in the kitchen. Small bin is nice touchless too but hard to put a plastic bag in it because the lid don't close properly and sensor also get covered with plastic bag in the small bin, whereas big trashcan is better designed.

We receive this trashcan combo set as a Wedding gift. We had just replaced all the appliances in our kitchen with stainless steel and this set was perfect match. They are both very sturdy and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new set of trash cans or a replacement set.

After 2 months the lid doesn't open all the way. After 4 months, the lid doesn't go up at all. Why? There is latch made of plastic and its the size of a thin nail holding the weight of the lid. Its not made of metal, which would last longer. The small can is too small and it was designed for you too pull a plastic liner basket out - then insert the bag, then put the liner bag in... You see the lip of the plastic bags sticking out on both baskets and it looks tacky.

I used one in the kitchen and the other one next to the cat litter box. I have had the set for years. The kitchen lid finally began to get tired after all this time. I tried to go with a different type.... I couldn't take it!! I have to buy another set. I miss them. They have always worked well. The lid does a good job opening when I need it to open but stays closed for my dog. The stainless steel was good quality, cleaned up easily with Meyers or water and vinegar. It didn't leave a bunch of finger prints the second you looked at it. I'm very happy to find a replacement!
