I ordered this online as no stores near me carried it. It arrived in the 5 days promised in its factory packaging. When I opened it the side was dented, so I popped it out but it left a couple of noticable creases. The instructions say not to return it to WalMart but to call the manufacturer. I have called and called and called, left messages after messages. I havent heard a word........

Completely Worthwhile Purchase. My Grandmother Is Blind. So She A Difficult Time Opening A Trash Can And Getting Items In The Trash Can At The Same Time. I Don't Like Uncovered Trash Cans So We Had To Find A Way To Satisfy Both Of Us. This Trash Can Was That Answer. She Just Has To Walk Up To The Trash And It Opens For Her, Making It Easy For Her To Throw Things Away And I Get My Covered Trash Can. Thanks For The Excellent Product!

I used one in the kitchen and the other one next to the cat litter box. I have had the set for years. The kitchen lid finally began to get tired after all this time. I tried to go with a different type.... I couldn't take it!! I have to buy another set. I miss them. They have always worked well. The lid does a good job opening when I need it to open but stays closed for my dog. The stainless steel was good quality, cleaned up easily with Meyers or water and vinegar. It didn't leave a bunch of finger prints the second you looked at it. I'm very happy to find a replacement!

Looks nice, although the brand name label on the small can is relatively huge. However: the status light on the lid of the 13-gallon can blinks continuously to let you know that everything is okay. Ordered it online, picked it up, brought it home, put batteries in it (which was easy), said "huh", verified in the enclosed documents that the blinking is normal, removed the batteries, and repackaged it. Will be returning tomorrow morning. I didn't even take it completely out of the plastic bag.

Ordered this 2-item set from Walmart online. It arrived in a timely manner. The small trash can works great, but the large trash can sensor never worked. I can manually press the Open/Close buttons and that works but not the automatic lid sensor. No matter how many times I swipe my hand over the sensor, it never worked. I called Nine Stars customer service. They said to turn the On/Off switch to Off and remove the batteries for 24 hours. I asked why for 24 hours (seems strange to me for a reboot) and the rep couldn't answer why. At any rate, I did exactly as she said and the sensor still doesn't work. I am taking this back to Walmart this weekend. Very disappointing and a waste of my time. Maybe I just had the bad luck to get a bad set.

This product is a little pricy for two trash cans but it's worth it. We were moving when we bought these trash cans and with most moves comes lots of trash. It was nice to not have to fumble with a trash can lid. Now that we are moved in, it comes in handy when I am cooking or trying to get ready to take out the trash. The only negative I can think of is that because the little trash can has a removable bin, it doesn't hold a trash bag very well.

Such a great product and great hands free! Batteries have lasted longer than I expected. I do have a question on how to order replacement parts as my husband accidentally threw away the plastic rim that holds the bag up? It still works without but I would like to order another part if available

Easy to clean. Looks great in the kitchen. Battery lasts a long time. I always get compliments on how great it looks. The only con is you have to be very close enough to the sensor or just press the button, but not a big deal. Had it for over a year. Changed battery only twice.

The auto-closing lid would not respond, it will NOT open or close (the small can) Bertha, Customer Service at Nine Stars said, "Take out the batteries for a minimum of 24 hours, no less, and then try again." I did the three, it still will not work Bertha C/S said have 2 options. 1.) You can send in the product for a replacement -- AT YOUR EXPENSE FOR SHIPPING 2.) You can return it to the vendor and either get a refund or order a replacement. POOR.... product, that this product, and the company's return policy is literally GARBAGE. DON''T BUT IT.....

This is a superb item to have in any kitchen. This is my fourth one.(not because of material failure.) They were misused. One I put in my garage.(cosmetics) (My bad judgement) All I have to do is repaint the lid and it will be in tip top shape. I'm thinking of having one shipped to my brother. BOTTOM LINE........I'M TOTALLY SATISFIED.
