initially it appeared to be great but after a year and a half the touchless garbage bin could only open half of the way. After two years it requires you to open the lid yourself. It appears that it only lasts about two years even after changing the batteries.

Looks nice, although the brand name label on the small can is relatively huge. However: the status light on the lid of the 13-gallon can blinks continuously to let you know that everything is okay. Ordered it online, picked it up, brought it home, put batteries in it (which was easy), said "huh", verified in the enclosed documents that the blinking is normal, removed the batteries, and repackaged it. Will be returning tomorrow morning. I didn't even take it completely out of the plastic bag.

This product looks very nice and I was lucky to get it at a really good price. There are 2 different battery sizes. The big trash can takes "C" batteries and the small trash can takes "D" batteries. I hope that the batteries will last because it could get pricey if it doesnt.

After 2 months the lid doesn't open all the way. After 4 months, the lid doesn't go up at all. Why? There is latch made of plastic and its the size of a thin nail holding the weight of the lid. Its not made of metal, which would last longer. The small can is too small and it was designed for you too pull a plastic liner basket out - then insert the bag, then put the liner bag in... You see the lip of the plastic bags sticking out on both baskets and it looks tacky.

I love, love, love this product! Not only do I not have to "touch" anything germy....my 110 pound black lab cant flip the lid and go dumpster diving for a snack! Ha! Its been a fabulous addition to my home...going to buy these for wedding gifts! Friends and family will love me for it :-)

I love the hands free activated by your motion feature of these cans. Also I have a big dog that likes to miss behave sometimes and get in the trash. She can't with these cans. The slight noise of the lid function scares her. This is my second big can I dropped the lid to my old one while changing the bag and broke it ughhh. So when I went to order a new one I found this set so now I have one in my bathroom the small size was perfect. I love the stainless steel it goes along with my kitchen appliances and cleans up with the stainless cleaner I use on them as well.

13 gallon trash bags fit it perfectly - no problem. Although it looks good, durability will be a challenge -- it doesn't appear like it will last more than a couple of years of continual use, so GET IT ON SALE. Plan ahead and get some batteries in advance. If the sensor ever goes out, I'll throw the whole thing away since the top is difficult to open manually. The opening on the top is smaller than the entire opening, but fits a paper plate nicely. Again... find it on sale and good luck with it for the long-haul.

Very nice set...Works well, and looks great in any kitchen and bath. You can't beat the price...I have compaired this set to the High End Stores, and found no difference except for the great low price Walmart offers. Save your money and shop Walmart...your friends will think you paid top dollar. :)

What a great deal. For $49.99 I expected just the large stainless steel trash can. I wasn't reading the whole add, just happy for that price. But when I got the package I was surprised that it came with a small one too. On top of it the lids are motion sensored. What a deal.... Since most large stainless steel trash cans are $80 and up.

This was a tremendous purchase, and works great. I like having the 13 gallon size for the kitchen. I noticed a few months ago that it stopped opening and closing as concise as it once did. I decided to recharge the batteries, hoping that that would be the fix. It worked perfectly for mabebe another two days. However, it is now reverting back to either opening only halfway or staying open and not closing. I have swapped out the batteries to make sure that that was the issue. It appears that the trashcan has Jess at the end of its lifespan.
