Cheaply Made

I really wanted to LOVE this. Sadly it came with two good sized dents on the right front and back corners. The odd thing is the box was in perfect condition so it couldn't have been the fault of UPS, clearly someone put the can in the box with these dents That is what bothers me the most. It is such a hassle to return something so large. Going through many reviews, this was a common issue. Would not recommend.

arrived damaged

Garbage can came dented. Contacted sams club they couldn’t replace item, I would just have to return. So I contacted nine star and they just told me to return to sams club. Poor packaging of item, and now I have to drive over one hour to return my trash can.

Eats up batteries, and the sensors suck. The lid stopped closing all the way, sits open.

Disappointing

I purchased this trash can for my Mom about 2 years ago. The lid stopped working about 5 months ago. It is so disappointing as the one I bought for myself much longer ago is still working. It is alot of money for the lid to stop working so soon.

There is a design flaw In the lid. The battery placement is on the bottom instead of on the inside. The heavy batteries have caused the battery cover to come off and my batteries to go in the trash. Even the old design could nit hold up to the batteries. I now have ugly duck tape holding the batteries ( which are not cheap)

Second Time Purchasing This

I purchased this exact set before from the same company and absolutely LOVE it. The first set was in the kitchen and the guest bath. Now that I have moved, I gave my old large can to my daughter and put the little one in my new guest bathroom. I bought this set so I have a new kitchen can and the little one is now in my new bath room. The original set is about 2 years old. The little can still has the original batteries in it and is showing no signs of dying anytime soon. With the large can the battery door fell off one day and wound up going out with the trash by accident. I do not think it was a malfunction of the product, it was most likely my son messing around with it. If I thought the can was faulty I would not have bought a second set. I am very pleased with this set.
