I’m very happy with this purchase. The automatic opening is nice. What a specially notices that the big one is of the perfect size for 13 gallon trash bags. My previous trash can also use the 13 gallon but it was round and it didn’t hold anywhere near as much as the bag could hold, if you know what I mean. Anyway I think these are great trash cans.

The large can we use in our kitchen, and it looks great with our stainless appliances! My children and I love the ease of using this with its hands free sensor ( for quick open and seems to stay open the perfect amount of time, too) and I love that it has a button option to open so it will remain open until I push on close button if I need it open longer while cleaning off plates, etc. I also love the removable rim that holds and tucks the garbage bag into place, so you do not see it hanging out of the sides, and maintains the sleek look of the can. I would highly recommend the large can!! The small can we use in our office, it has a removable interior basket with handle, and sensor works well, but it is not as wonderful as the large one. First, if it gets pushed up against something (i. e. Desk or wall), the on/off switch gets shut off easily because it is located on lower back of can. Second, it is not possible to conveniently use a trash bag inside. I was hoping to use it in the bathroom to toss in the baby wipes, but had to change to office because I did not wish to have to hand wash the interior basket constantly (was hoping on one less thing to have to clean!). There is no removable rim to clip bag in place, and when I attempted to put bag in, it covered the hands free sensor. I found it difficult to try to tuck the bag into the basket because then the removable interior basket does not easily sit flush to allow lid to completely close. I am ok with it, but not in love.

I've had this for 2 weeks now and LOVE IT. It keeps the trash from stinking up the house and the lid doesn't get dirty because it lifts when the censor detects it. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that they take C and D batteries and I don't know how long they will last. Other than that, it's great!

The big can was great worked perfect, little can not so much. Tried different batteries but the sensor was gone and it was brand new. Had to return and will be trying a second one. 5 stars for the big can 0 for the little one. Also different batteries is kind of a headache when you first start out and expect a brand new garbage can to work right away takes c batteries for one and d for the other, wouldn't it be easier to make them both the same if your selling them as a set? I think so!

This is my second garbage can and this one doesn’t opn either, it wasgood for a few months then they sent a replacement now it doesn’t open no matter what kind of batteries I use. I know things don’t last forever but I expected at least a little more use from this item but you live and you learn back to the old method for me bummer it was expensive too.

We have a large dog and used to come home to find trash strewn all over the kitchen. Although she has figured out how to open the smaller of the 2 trash cans the larger one is still safe. The smaller can is handy for disposing of tissues in which she has no interest. I really like the way the lids open automatically. It's so convenient when you're busy with yours hands full (and dirty) and keeps things much cleaner. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

I have had this about a week. The only problem I have is that I could not put the trash can under a counter top. It is just a over hang of the counter but the sensor detects the counter so I had to find another place for the can. Other than that it is a nice trash can!

We bought this for our sister who has polio. She has never been able to use a trash can with the foot pedal. Never ever thought about that in her case. She is so thankful. You would think it was a million dollar lottery win for her. We are happy with this purchase. So thankful we found this.

The large can’s magnetic liner holds standard bags perfectly in place and allows plenty of space to slip trash securely inside when the lid opens. In a cramped space my shirt overhang would open the lid, but rotating it solved that. The sensors are just sensitive enough. I particularly like the small can’s inner liner that comes out completely, perfect for bathroom cleaning.

Trashcans are both a good size and very helpful when your hands are full. I love the sleek, clean look. I once had the step open can that broke relatively quickly. This one is easy to set up, turn on and you are on your way. I definitely recommend.
