I reordered this trashcan because I love it so much. The convenience, cleanliness, and ease every time I use it is fabulous. I’m even buying one for my aunt as a gift. I’ve already bought one for my daughter-in-law. She loves it. She finds her self visiting other houses and waiving for a sensor that doesn’t exist lol.

This use to be my favorite trash receptacle. The first one I got didn't work properly the automatic top that is. I sent it back and the sent a replacement. The replacement item barely worked for 2 months and seems to have a short somewhere. If you tap the top it works some times. The price you pay for this product it should work for years. Like my first one did. That is why I decided to buy the same replacement item when mine finally just wore out. It lasted for over 7 years. So I would normally be raving how great this product is. I would still buy this product but be cautious. It seems to be hit or miss not expected that it will last for years. Give it a try though.

I was doing some research on sensor trash cans. The price and reviews led me to this set. I am glad that I made the purchase. This serves the purpose intended and we have not had any issues with either of the trashcans. I would definitely recommend this set to others.

I was very pleased with the safe arrival of the items. They were very well secured in the box to avail any scratching or other damage to the stainless steel finish. Product was easily assembled for use. Instruction booklet was helpful in getting the batteries installed so the open/close option would work. If asked, I would recommend items to friends/relatives.

Great product but 4 rating as the big one arrived dented and the shipping box looked like it had been mailed by tigers so just bad shipping I guess. I pounded out the dent as these are pretty thin, wasn't enough damage for me to take the time to return.

The 13 gallon trash can is fine, but the 2 gallon trash can did not work when it arrived. I sent a e-mail to NINE STARS and received instructions to check it. I followed the instructions and it did not fix anything, I sent another e-mail to Nine Stars and received the same instructions that I had received before. I wrote that this did not fix the problem. They responded with only the same e-mail that did not address my problem or the model of trash can. I did receive a RMA. Even it did address my model I returned the trash can to Nine Stars. At a cost of $12.50 for shipping the package by USPS. I am still waiting for a workable small trash can. Nine Stars has not been helpful. The added cost, the added work, does not make this a good purchase. Thank you for asking.

Having this trashcan lid stay open if I am walking by quickly and want to throw something in there, or trying to throw away my coffee filter with all drawin having this trashcan lid stay open if I am walking by quickly and want to throw something in there, or trying to throw away my coffee filter with wet grinds, having a trashcan where the lid stays open and I don’t have to stand on a pedal really does make a lot of difference. It’s quick and reliable so far.

I like the trash cans because I don't have to lift the lid each time I want to discard anything. It is taller than my other garbage can and the lid doesn't take up as much area to open since it is under an overhang of my countertop. When the bag is full, you don't have to take it out to fill it rest of the way up, it's ready to be taken out. The only thing I didn't like is that when it arrived, there was a big hole in the side of the box and a dent in the side of the large trash can. I was able to pop the biggest one out, but it still has 2 small dents in it.

These trash cans have been really nice to use in the kitchen while not allowing the dogs to get in it (so far). Since there is a lid, the dogs have not attempted to get in it, however, if it were to be knocked over the lid would fall off and contents would be fair game. One thing that I have noticed is that the sensor is extra sensitive. I may be walking by the trashcan with no intentions on using. And the lid will sense my hand near it and open. This is more of an annoyance than a problem because it will just close again.

Garbage pails are nice. I use the big one for kitchen garbage and the smaller one for recycling which doesn't hold much but still reduces my trips to the garage. Also if you're going to line the little pail with a store plastic bag the handles get caught up. Just have to fiddle to get it right or the lid won't close all the way. Don't know how long the battery lasts because I haven't had them long enough. But they look great and the auto lids work great but you have to be right at the pail for them to operate. No more 3 point shots from across the kitchen.
