I was left to choose this brand because the wright bacon was all sold out due to hoarding on my last trip. It's not bad as far as bacon goes but it's not as thick as wright bacon, nor is it as tasty. It's very salty in comparison. When wright is back in stock I will be returning to it.

I want to start off by saying this review has NO reflection on the retailer. I bought 3 packages and they were nothing but fat! So bad I took pictures to send to the mfg. As in totally worthless to consume but perfect for topping off my bacon grease container. Been a Black Label fan for years. This is NOT Black Label quality!!!!

I don't know what it is about this bacon but when I cook Black Label Bacon, it will wake her up and she has a smile on her face. I use this Black Label bacon for everything I cook with bacon.

We usually have it for breakfast, but use it for all things that need bacon! A little disappointed with our last 3 lb package had 4 slices that were " thin" not thick cut!! Not unusual to have one.... to make weight, is my guess. But 4 slices in package is not acceptable! Thick cut still there, when done cooking, thin cut..... not much left.

I bought this thinking it would be better than the bacon I usually buy. I was wrong. I picked a pack that seemed like it was more meat than fat. I was disappointed when I saw 90% of the bacon strip was fat. Used it for pinto beans instead. Won't buy again.

For a brand name bacon these just didnt do it for me. They were on the thinner side and baking them in the oven just made them too crispy and basically wispy pieces of meat. The flavor also wasn't that good. Which was unfortunately because they were nicely priced.

Been buying this bacon for 10 or 15 years, well satisfied, until the last two times I've purchased it. The time before you could see through it. This last time I believe they killed a 30lb pig instead of a 300lb hog. Shame on Hormel and Sams Inspectors. If your going to sell poor Quality at least lower your prices

Have been using a different brand for some time now center cut name brand but lately its not been so great frying in to nothing! We had Thanksgiving at our daughters and she had a 3lb pkg of Hormel Black Label I cooked for everyone for breakfast it was awesome!!! I had used Hormel Black Label off and on for 35 plus years, I dont know why I hadnt been buying it instead of the center cut..but I found that Black Label 3 lb pkg today and I am back to being a loyal Hormel customer, I even found Hormel Ham 2pkg that I also bought and am hoping it is of the same fine quality as my Hormel bacon!!

This was the only bacon I would buy. On my most recent purchase, it seems like more "solution" was added and it took forever to cook. The slices were not thick cut and the bacon lacked it signature "smoky" flavor. Not very happy with the quality of this batch...
