I really like this bacon. It makes up a batch and I freeze it with it almost cooked all the way. When we take it out of the freezer, we place in microwave and finish the cooking to get crispy.

If you're old enough to recall buying bacon 20 or so years ago, you'll recall regular bacon being what they now sell as "thick cut". Frankly, I can't visualize how they can slice modern "regular" bacon as thin as they do. In my case I tried to find an option that wasn't crazy expensive, none are inexpensive, and that is good quality. Hormel Black Label, Thick Cut from Sam's is the closest I've come. Three pounds is a lot for a family of two. I usually cook it all on my outdoor griddle, then vacuum seal and freeze it. That system has worked well for us for years.

We've tried several different bacons that Sam's has to offer and this one just seemed to have the best taste and the longest shelf life. We can make this last about three weeks.

I'll probably still buy this when I need it, but it's not the same as it was. The price of everything is so high now and the quality seems to be slipping. So we're paying more for less.

Seems to be over 40% water content. We bake our bacon on racks in the oven. The most recent batch we bought shrank more than usual - almost half size after cooking. Still tasted good though.

This was the worst bacon I have purchased. "Thick" is not the word I would use. This little pig wasn't given time to fill out, before he went to slaughter. These were the smallest pieces of bacon I have ever seen. Slices were appx 1" on one end and 1/4" on the other end.

This bacon Started off fine. The next few times I have bought it was more fat, thinner after cooking, very little lean. The price has gone up, on a CHEAP bacon product. I am disappointed with this product. It needs to go back to it's first Cuts. This shouldn't be called Thick Cut!

Awful bacon. No two pieces cut the same way and anything from so thin you could see through it to way too thick. If you are cutting it up into prices, I suppose it would work, but not for frying breakfast slices. I will not purchase it again, even at half price.

I was disappointed in the downsizing of the cuts of bacon by each slice. It is noticeably thinner. I will give it one more purchase to look for correction before I will look for another source for my bacon.
