I bought this thinking it would be better than the bacon I usually buy. I was wrong. I picked a pack that seemed like it was more meat than fat. I was disappointed when I saw 90% of the bacon strip was fat. Used it for pinto beans instead. Won't buy again.

Bought this bacon since Sam's NO LONGER handles the Wright's Bacon. When we opened it, there was quite a bit of water in the package which came out of the bacon. We tried to divide it into 4 packages using our seal a meal. Couldn't seal bags because of the water which was being sucked out of the bacon by the vacuum. Used freezer bags instead. Also BACON WAS VERY SALTY. Wife will use it when she needs bacon for cooking. Will not buy this again!

This was the only bacon I would buy. On my most recent purchase, it seems like more "solution" was added and it took forever to cook. The slices were not thick cut and the bacon lacked it signature "smoky" flavor. Not very happy with the quality of this batch...

We have always been delighted with the Black Label Thick Slice Bacon we purchased from Publix. This time we purchased 2 packages as typical and Thick Slice they are not. After cooking they are thin and short albeit the flavor was still what we expected. Maybe the bacon was placed in the wrong package?

I enjoyed the thick and wide cuts of bacon this product offered and other products made by Hormel. The down side is the salt content. I am not sure if this was an error in the curing / ingredient process of this particular shipment, but it is inedible. I even tried to mix up the cooked bacon into a recipe, but the salt was over powering. I will be throwing the rest away. Disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this product several times. It's great just fried up for breakfast. I have used it to make my jalapenos poppers in the oven.they are thick and rich in flavor, I love this brand of bacon. I wont use any other bacon on my jalapenos poppers

We love the black label thick cut bacon and I've never had a problem with it until today. These slices are so paper thin and shredded that I can't believe this bacon made it past quality control. I expect a certain quality from Hormel and I'm just not seeing it this morning. I'm disappointed and I feel cheated. I can't help but wonder if someone new is in charge; is this going to be the new norm?

I buy this brand of bacon all the time, but this package was horrible. The bacon should have been used for straps. Not a single bacon was whole or full. I'm not sure what happen to this package but it was bad. I've heard that the worst item are sent to urban areas. Should this happen again I will be a convinced.
