Very tasty surprise

I don’t usually have very high expectations for “heat and eat” entrees. This was a very pleasant surprise. Tasted very fresh and homemade with a recipe I would have chosen. Jam-packed with chicken and perfect amount of sauce and cheese. Took off one star because I would have liked more spice, but that’s individual taste. I’ll buy again and may add a bit more jalapeños.

Something different and unique

A little bite, just the right amount of cheesiness, maybe could use a little more sauce but my 18 year old daughter and I are in love with this dish. The value seems good, we've picked it up several times and have not been disappointed. Would definitely recommend this!

Good not great

I love the chicken enchiladas with red sauce, so I thought I'd love these just as much. Unfortunately I didn't know they were made with grilled chicken strips. Some of the chicken pieces were off-putting and chewy. This would be 5 stars if it was made with rotisserie chicken.

Tastes as good as it sounds!

Impressed. Being a huge mexican food lover, some things are hard for me to make that taste well These enchiladas took care of that for me. Flavor over the top! Had a nice little zing without it being to spicy for other family memebers. So tasty, saves time and the family approves!

Enchilada good, plastic bad.

I would have given it 5 stars, but instead of using the aluminum pan, like they used to, they switched to plastic. I don't feel that cooking with plastic, in an oven, is a good idea. I've read a few studies which confirm this. So I have some of the aluminum pans saved from other entrees, which I use instead. Put one upside down, on top of the plastic container, and flip it. You can use another inverted aluminum pan on top of it rather than play with tin foil. I use 2, large paper clips to hold the "top" in place.

Big fan of hatch chili. This is not hatch chili. At best it’s pepper jack cheese melted. Very creamy also. We were really excited about this dish, but we were let down. Great concept if done right. Plus no excited they use old rotisserie chicken in it

Big and tasty

These enchiladas about a pound each; a tray can feed 6 people. There's just enough spiciness to make it tasty, not so much that you have to drink lots of water. I can't buy this as often as I'd like because I'm the only one at home who likes spicy food.

Friendly meal

Or first was mildly spicy, something people who can't take spice could handle. Our 2nd & 3rd were more spicy and not likely to be appreciated by our non-spicy friends, however not highly spicy. I'd suggest when purchasing, that one makes sure there's enough white sauce to cover the enchiladas so that they don't dry out while baking. These are a good meal for us when we don't feel like cooking.

Delicious enchiladas

Flavor and level of spice were great. It did stick to the bottom of the pan making it hard to cut through. I think the enchiladas would be better using corn tortillas or smaller flour tortillas to make it easier to portion out servings. Even do, I will probably buy this again.

Strange Textures on Chicken

The sliced chicken inside is tough and rubbery, not a shredded chicken like I would have expected, making some bites inedible. We also found several chili stem parts (where the seeds attach at the top of a chili). It overall had good flavor, but after a while it was a miserable experience trying not to bite into something gross, hard, or inedible. I wish it was better executed because the sauce was great, and we were hoping for a quick, go-to dinner option. Maybe the red sauce version will be better if you can get past the rubber chicken.
