I ordered the turnovers for delivery from the club. I received them today (July 27) and they have a best if used by date July 28. I tried 2 of them and found that the quality is poor. The turnovers are soggy and I don't think they will be any better tomorrow on the best if use by date. If you want to order these for delivery from the club, have a garbage can ready.

a little chewy instead of crispy. was on sale yet rang up full price, didnt notice till I was 45 miles back home. was not going to drive back for 2$ but will pay more attention next time. bet they make a ton charging people full price and them not noticing.

I bought these because they were marked $2 off. Obviously there was a reason for that markdown. Ate partial one first day of arrival and discovered that although they looked good on the top and bottom outside, they were nothing but black mold inside. Noticed they felt rather slimy when I opened the package. No more bakery goods from Sam's.

It was my first time trying the apple turnovers from Members Mark and boy was I in for a treat. They're perfectly flakey and just the right amount of filling. My kids even said the filling tastes like McDonald's apple pies. So so good! I hope they keep this item permanently!

It seems that no one is capable of making an honest apple turnover anymore, and this is another perfect example of that fact. Don't let the 4th product picture fool you. I tried two of these, and neither one of them had a single chunk of apple in them, much less over flowing like Sam's would have you believe. It's blatantly false advertising. If you choose to try one yourself, let me save you some time. Go ahead and tear the middle out, including the folded edge, and toss it in the trash. Don't worry, you won't be throwing away any filling, just bread. What you'll have left are the two edges where the fold comes together, and it contains a slight smear of some type of apple-flavored something. Just enough to make the edges stick together, because apparently using real apple filling requires sacrificing baby unicorns. Oddly enough, despite the absence of filling, the bread is wet and soggy. Possibly from not being allowed to cool before boxing. Just terrible. Offer half the number of turnovers with actual filling for the same price, or else feed this nonsense to raccoons behind the store - if they'll eat it. If you want a decent apple turnover, I recommend Pepperidge Farms in the frozen foods section of many grocery stores. About the same price as this 8 pack of garbage, they come 4 to a box, and take about 22 minutes at 400° in the oven.

These were much better than any I've bought at grocery bakery's.

Very little apple filling, of the 16 we bought to share at a party only a few were presentable.

I heated these apple turnovers in an air fryer and they were so flaky and delicious.

Hardly any apples in there. Little turnover flavor. I should've brought them back.
