Amazing

My husband likes Tillamook Cheese. We always keep it on hand. Very sorry that Sam's quit handling the Pepper-Jack. We pick up this at Sam's in Amarillo, Texas because my husband has eye appointments there every month. But we don't do our regular shopping in Amarillo. To find the Pepper Jack by Tillamook, we have to go to another town after we get home. - it is only 40 miles from us, and Amarillo is 120. Or else we just buy another brand, which he does not like nearly as well.

Clearly the best! Tillamook is hands down the best cheese. The quality off the charts. Having to shred isn't convenient but the quality is best. I learned if you buy preshredded that the cheese is coated with a chemical to make it stay good or preserved. That chemical is toxic to us. And before you ask...? I don't know the name of it. But it's something to keep moisture away so it doesn't mold quickly. Well I'd rather amazing cheese that I have to shred myself than cheese that slowly kills me. It's worth it to shred it yourself!

Good for you, doesnt hurt people that are lactose intolerant.

My family loves this cheese, we don't buy grated cheese, we grate our own as needed and this is our go to /all time favorite.

This is a huge block of cheese and has gone a long ways. When I opened it, I cut it in thirds, then sealed two of them with my food saver bags. It helps keeps the cheese fresh from molding. Rather we shred or slice, very yummy tasting cheese. Great in enchiladas, taco salads, baked potatoes, grilled cheese etc.
