These chairs are built tough! I previously went with Polywood (bar stools) and loved how they still look as good as the day that we bought them. I looked to the same manufacturer for Adirondac chairs but scoffed at the price. Then I found “Lifetime”. They look like wood (without the splinters), they’re heavy (I can’t move one by myself) and they seem every bit the quality as we found in the other composite chairs that we liked. The first one was tough to put together but, by the third one, we had figured out some tricks (drill a bit wider hole about 1/2” down in the holes provided and be careful with your screws; they only give you as many as you’ll need. If you lose one, you’ll be heading to the hardware store. We’ll put the remaining two together today, then it’s on to the Lifetime glider that we purchased. Buy these chairs. You won’t be sorry!

I purchased 4 of these chairs and they are so comfortable! Easy instructions and easy to put together - I just recommend when assembling the chairs, to attach arms and legs first, rather than the seat back like in the instructions, leaving all the screws a little loose. Then attach the back. It is much easier to line up all the holes that way. Once everything is together, then go back and tighten everything down.

Good quality and weight! We get quite a bit of wind and these chairs stand their ground. All holes are predrilled and no missing parts! We are well pleased!

Materials used in the manufacturing of these chairs appear to be of high quality, which should result in years of dependable outdoor seating for our family and guests!

Great chairs ! I’ve bought 4 total and they are sturdy and durable. We use them around the pool and fire pit in the winter.

I purchased four of these chairs, assembly takes 20-30 minutes per chair. Two of my chairs had cracks in the seat boards. I contacted Lifetime was told they don't make replacement boards and I would have to return the Item to Sams Club, I live two hours from the store so I'll probably just deal with it.. Otherwise I really like them and they look great!

I bought this a month ago. It was pretty easy to put together. One of the arm supports was broken when I received it but it was good enough to not hassle with returning it. I'm very disappointed at how flimsy the seat is. I don't expect it to last very long before the seat boards break.

I ordered two of these and was disappointed. I already own four composite Adirondack chairs from a popular brand but they are so expensive. Since I wanted two more, I figured I’d give these a try. In comparison, these have a smoother finish which is nice but are less dense which allows them to flex a lot more. I got the gray, which was a nice color, but this finish gets “stained” easily by body grease. I actually owned a table made of the same material and it had stains from water glasses and sunscreen cans all over that couldn’t be removed. Just rubbing with my hands left marks on this chair so I could imagine how they would hold up to people sitting with sunscreen. Luckily I only assembled one (which was very easy) and was able to return both to my Sams club because I have a truck (the boxes would be too big for a regular car) I did wind up buying the more expensive brand, refurbished, and am happy that I did.

The chairs are comfortable and hold weight well. Over time, however, the brown finish of the material the chair is made of began to create a rust colored powdery stain on the clothing and skin of anyone sitting in the chair. The finish began coming off onto our clothing. From the naked eye the chairs look fine. It isn’t until you run hour hand, your clothing, your wet swim suit, a towel…anything across it- it’s a slightly gritty texture like dust or dirt. Or, sit on them. But it’s actually the chair itself. Pretty frustrating for the price we paid for what we thought was a “Lifetime” purchase. I remember reading when we purchased them they were able to be repainted- but from what I’ve read it looks like it isn’t recommended.

Poor quality fasteners and tools. Very difficult to assemble as the holes do not line up. Screw heads strip out very easily. Wrote in to the manufacturer for help. No response. I really wanted to like these chairs.
