Good value for the price

Just purchased. Am in the middle of moving, so I haven't had time to test it much, but it seems well put together and sturdy. Looks identical to one I used recently that was very good. The only thing I don't like are the plastic wheels which don't seem robust enough for the weight of the machine. Those hollow plastic wheels are the first thing to go.

Do Not Overlook This Brand

I recently ordered this model to replace a Ryobi electric washer. The Ryobi was/is working fine but just has a bit less power than I require for the driveway. First off.......I am not in the business of pressure cleaning. Just a regular homeowner like most people out there. So I can only go by my personal product experience. My other Westinghouse outdoor appliance is the WGen 9500 12500 dual fuel generator which I have enjoyed a trouble free 4 years of use. Even the electric start battery is still going strong. Unlike a Generac we owned which cracked the first time we really needed it and cost 5 times as much. So, going by the quality of the Westinghouse generator, I decided to try the pressure washer. The machine was well packed. The instruction booklets are excellent. You are provided with everything you need to put it all together. Minus fuel of course. There was a little oil in the box which tells me that the unit actually was tested. I have not done any serious washing yet but after setup, turning on the water, bleeding air from the hose, the unit started up very easily. And I could see the difference in pressure compared to the electric Ryobi. With regular yearly oil changes, and using rec fuel which is all I use for my gas powered outdoor tools and boat, I expect this washer to last just as my generator has done. For the average homeowner this should be all you need.

Tough start

I find the engine somewhat hard to start (even while following the directions in the owner's manual). I even had to replace the spark plug delivered with the pressure washer and, when comparing the spark plug to a replacement spark plug that I purchased, the spark plug gap was obviously too large. Should this have been caught by 'quality control' before leaving the factory? But even with a new spark plug, the engine is still hard to start. Once the engine does start - which it did - the pressure washer works just fine. But I was disappointed I had so much trouble with an item that was rated so highly by previous buyers (which is why I selected this model for purchase).

Awesome machine!!

I bought this item in March waiting for the warm weather. So far I have used this item for about 10 hours and it works perfectly. I have more things to clean later this summer. Also used it to clean our vehicles from all the dirt out back. Cleans the dirt right off.

Works great

The WPX3400 power washer performs well. It starts up quickly and the spray is very powerful. The only issue I had was the high pressure hose sprung a leak. I think it may have to do with the design. The hose rubs up against the handle. Otherwise I love the machine.

Great out of the box, not so much shortly after

It's an average pressure washer at first. I tried to stay within guidelines for oil changes as recommended. I am now experiencing some issues with the washer. I have a gas leak at the carburetor gasket and cup. It also shudders where i get hose vibration reduction of pressure and sounds like it may stall out. This happened after the fifth time using it and never changed how i used it. To add, i also think the pump design should be different. The current design has connections for pump and water coming in on the side where you have the wheel and handle arm to contend with to make connections. Not to mention putting you close to the carburetor for possible burns when still hot. It would better if connections were strait back with no restrictions to work with. Just submitted proof of purchase and registration at same time so waiting for support on direction of issues that manifested early in usage. I chose this product over going back to a long time name brand that worked well for me. Hoping not a wrong decision.

Great Features!

Here's a natural, first-hand style review you could post: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worth every penny! I bought the Westinghouse WPX3400 mainly to clean my concrete driveway, vinyl siding, and patio, and it exceeded my expectations. It has more than enough power to blast away years of dirt and mildew without struggling. The engine starts easily (usually on the first or second pull), and the different spray nozzles make it simple to switch between tough concrete cleaning and gentler jobs like washing my car. Assembly was straightforward, and the built-in soap tank is convenient for applying detergent before rinsing. The large wheels roll well over grass and uneven ground, making it easy to move around the house. The only downside is that it's a gas-powered machine, so it's louder than electric models and requires basic maintenance like oil changes and fuel care. But if you need serious cleaning power, that's a fair trade-off. Overall, this is an excellent pressure washer for homeowners. It delivers strong performance, feels well-built, and offers great value for the price.

Oil

Unboxed and put together the pressure washer. Made sure to ensure oil was at the proper level and checked all connections. First use, pressure washer worked great, until I noticed oil pooling on my deck. Turned the unit off, let the unit sit, and again checked the dip stick, still at the proper levels. Checked the dip stick gasket and the fill gasket, both looked good. I will be filling out a warranty submission now, and will update depending on the service received.

WPX 3400 pressure washer

Have only used the power washer once so far, but it worked properly. The engine was a bit difficult to restart after shutdown, but seemed to get easier each time I restarted. Assembly was a piece of cake and a wrench and allen wrench were included with the fasteners.

The WPX3400 sailed through a very tough cleaning

Super simple assembly; most of it done at the factory. My driveway apron had not been washed...ever and it has been there 31 years. I couldn't believe the dramatic change in the concrete color and cleanliness after just one washing. After three washings the apron could've passed for new concrete. I then bought the surface cleaner . What an amazing device. It cut the time by 75% and did an incredible job.
