[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had it about 1 week and keep it in our garage. Temperatures easily break 110 degrees in the garage and the power usage is better then the 85 cu ft chest freezer this replaced. It has easily kept the 7 degree freezer temp we set with no issues thus far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought two of this Freezer/Refrigerator's for the garage in my new home. I haven't used them yet so I can't comment on that, but the shipping was fast and they are packed very well. I have had lots of Hamilton Beach products over the years and haven't had any real issues with their items.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There were dents in the side of the door and freezer. Shipper was late with delivery and didn’t want to take the plastic off the refrigerator. My mistake by not insisting on inspection before he left. They were pretty big dents. Not the fault of Walmart or manufacturer.

Digital display failed at almost the exact 1 yr warranty date... and neither Hamilton Beach customer support who does not provide support for this OR support2@curtiscs.com - (where HB sent me for support) carries or even knows where to get replacement parts! otherwise great freezer.

I purchased two Hamilton Beach 17cu ft convertible refrigerators/freezers, and thus far, these appliances have been excellent for our requirements. The upright design is a significant advantage, as searching through a chest-type freezer can be quite cumbersome. DELIVERY: However, I must express my dissatisfaction with the third-party delivery service contracted by Sam's Club in my area, which has been utterly terrible. Since I ordered two units, they independently scheduled two separate delivery times without any customer input. One was meant to arrive on the first day, while the other was indicated for the following day. Ultimately, both were delivered on the second day, without any prior notice, simply arriving in a box truck around mid-afternoon. Fortunately, my retired neighbor assisted by ensuring they were placed inside my garage for security; otherwise, they would have been left outside, vulnerable to theft during the day. Given the extremely poor delivery service, I cannot recommend purchasing these items through Sam's Club.
