I ordered two units for my garage, one to be a freezer and the other a refrigerator. Both boxes arrived as scheduled and both boxes were relatively unscathed. Both were shrink-wrapped together on a pallet and this probably made them more secure. The packaging in the box was superb and insured no dents nor dings. Truly, my only complaint is that the owner's manual is sealed up INSIDE the refrigerator, and it contains unpacking instructions. Having done this many times before, I knew the drill, but just found it odd. Turning the units on required referral to the manual as it is not intuitive. One unit established desired temperature much faster than the other, but both came down to set temperature within 30-45 minutes (both started at 59F). I was concerned about plugging both units into the same outlet due to it being limited to 20 Amps, but the manual states that the power draw is 1.8Amps when compressor is running -- which is pretty amazingly low, but each is on its own circuit anyway. Very pleased with purchase and would most certainly buy again.

It's a great freezer for a small family..

The fact I can keep things frozen , organized, and frost free makes me very happy. That plus the fact I no longer lose things in the smaller chest freezer while having much more storage in the same footprint thrills me to death. Only down side for me, not related to the fridge itself, is being in a wheelchair, it does get scraped up easily, but is has not messed with the function any.

We bought 2 of these. One to use as a freezer and one as a refrigerator. They both are great at keeping temperature even in my garage with the temperature being over 90 degrees all week. The temperature readout on the front is a great feature, I can easily see that it’s staying at the correct temperature . They are a tremendous value at that price.

Pretty cool, my egg and beverage fridge finally died. I thought this was pretty awesome you can fit a whole turkey in this bad boy.....brisket yup. Watermelons in the bottom basket, perfect. It came very well packed, was called when it should be delivered. No dings or dents in it. Plugged it in and it got fridge cold within an hour. Definitely a great addition to the basement.

Digital display failed at almost the exact 1 yr warranty date... and neither Hamilton Beach customer support who does not provide support for this OR support2@curtiscs.com - (where HB sent me for support) carries or even knows where to get replacement parts! otherwise great freezer.

The freezer is great BUT it came with 2 broken door shelves i called and the lady said i would have to return the whole freezer in order for me to get 2 new shelves i told her that was ridiculous so she said she would give me money back but yave not seen it yet

lt had a few dents in it, but overall it made it on time. Thank you for delivering it, we were in serious need of another freezer and we are very grateful.

I bought this item and it showed up dropped off in front of my porch with no warning. I was home but no one even rang the bell. That is on the shipping company. However, once we unwrapped the plastic wrap on the outside it was noted that there were two holes at around eye lever in the box. Upon inspection with a flashlight we realized there was a rather large hole in the unit. Not sure whether front back or side but a significant hole and tear in the metal. We didn't even take it out of the box. A dent I can live with as I am not opposed to buying dent and scratch if the price is right. I called the next day and they gave me a refund as they say they have none left in stock.

The fine print in the purchase terms says they will not install it. The shipper Maersk or subcontractor) gives minimal notice (less than 24h) for delivery and then will leave it any old place still in the box wrapped in plastic on the pallet and they refused to install it. I had to hire someone separately to do it because as part of purchasing this, installation is specifically excluded. I did not know that when I ordered it and called the Sam’s Club phone number for help. The call was escalated to the supervisor who ultimately hung up on me. I would not buy it again even though it’s a nice unit because the aggravation was shipping was so bad. I called the people at the store and they couldn’t help me. So unless you want to unbox and install it yourself don’t buy it. They will not bring it into the house. The garage is as far as they will go.
