Digital display failed at almost the exact 1 yr warranty date... and neither Hamilton Beach customer support who does not provide support for this OR support2@curtiscs.com - (where HB sent me for support) carries or even knows where to get replacement parts! otherwise great freezer.

Happy with shipping and product arrived okay, however, I am not able to use it as it trips my gfci outlet in my garage. I've tried unplugging everything else to account for the initial power surge, no luck. I have also tried various outlets whether GFCI or not and it still trips the GFCI outlett. Maintenance took a look and thinks there is an issue with the freezer itself. Very very disappointed.

I've had this freezer for two weeks and so far so good. I was concerned about the shipping due to other reviews but everything went smoothly. The product was packaged very well and there were no dents or damage. I'm using this as a freezer in my garage plugged into a GCFI outlet. It is not recommended but I haven't had any trips yet. I do have a WiFi thermometer so I can monitor the temperature from my phone in case of power loss or any issues to prevent food spoilage or loss. The only con is that the door can be difficult to open with one hand. On the flip side, the sealing of the door is really strong and that is more important. There is plenty of storage and shelving, much better organization than a deep freezer. I purchased this freezer for sale under $500 with free shipping, which is the best deal I could find for a freezer this size.
