I have had 'Dusty' (coincidently the name of my first childhood pet) for about a month. I love the fact that twice a week I come home and the whole house has been vacuumed (3,000 feet). It took a few mapping adventures to keep him out of places where he got stuck, but once I figured out how to use the mobile app it's been great!

I recently received the Dustin Bobsweep. First off, when I opened it up, it was well organized so nothing could get damaged with shipment. They had easy steps to get you started using it. It cleans better than my old robot vacuum. I have not used the mop feature yet, but I'm looking forward to trying it real soon.

This is hands down the best robotic vac out there. The suction power is amazing and the app is very easy to navigate. Plus you can set up schedules and control it directly from my phone. The dirt bin compartment isn't very big on the machine, but that doesn't matter because the container it can empty into is huge. It does an extremely good job on my house, and has been a life saver for my back. I highly recommend this product and have already convinced a couple of our friends and family to purchase it

I am very happy with this product! While there were some issues I had to work through, the customer support was beyond helpful! Because I have a Golden Retriever at home that obviously sheds, they were able to give suggestions to try to have my Dustin work more efficiently, like programing the schedule differently to stop and empty more often so it didn't get clogged with dog hair. While I do have to remove the brush and clean it every few days (I run it daily) It is very easy to do, and only takes a minute or two, its certainly quicker than having to run a regular vacuum. Also, I had older different brand robot vacuum prior that had the same issue with the brush, but feel its kind of an unavoidable issue when owning a long haired dog.

We love our Dustin so far! Especially how quiet it is compared to our old robot vacuum. And it is so nice to have it empty itself, especially since we have a Labrador Retriever and a long hair cat…the canister can fill up quick with all that hair! And it is great for a quick mop, not a deep clean, but still nice for those muddy pawprints.

We have really enjoyed "Dustin" so far. It was really easy to set up and the instructions were pretty clear and intuitive with the App. It does a good job of covering ground and learning the footprint of our home. The only downside is that it doesn't recognize when it is about to get trapped under a couch or recliner so I have to draw where it shouldn't sweep in the future. ANother thing we noticed recently when opening the larger bag on the docking device is that there isn't as much dirt/dust/hair/etc than when we used a traditional vacuum. So we are suspecting that it may not be getting as much as a vacuum. We recently increased the strength and will see what happens. We are still trying to learn the "Maps" section as well and how it actually functions. Overall, we are really happy with the purchase and the device.

You will need to download an app for this, and make sure you have all loose stuff out of the way. I have a rug that gives him trouble, so we blocked it to make the no-vacuum zone for easier management. We have two dogs and two cats that are not fond of the hot Florida weather, so hair has always been an issue, and sweeping was a daily chore that took up a lot of time. Dustin has saved us so much time in upkeep, plus keeping allergy issues down, that we have made him an official member of the family. I love not having hairballs collecting every two days, and we have more time to focus on other things.

So far this vacuum has been doing great. It picks up way more than my previous vacuum, so much that the self empty got stuck. Now that it has been in use for a couple of weeks, no issues with the self empty feature and still picking up a lot of dog hair.

Dustin has been a fine addition to our family. The children have dubbed him Barnacle. Barnacle has been doing a great job so far cleaning the floors, though he has some trouble every now and then. He does not like cables and cords, sometimes he gets himself into trouble when getting really close to bookshelves with bottoms that are just high enough to allow him partially under. He especially gets confused if furniture or doors are not where he expects them to be. Overall, we are quite happy to have Barnacle as part of the cleaning team! I bought this 3 months ago and like it very much. I mostly use the vacuum but use the mop feature sometimes. I have it set on a schedule to vacuum a few times a week. It really helps to keep things tracked in from outside and other small particles off the floor in between when I use my bigger floor cleaner. It does a good job and it's satisfying to hear what it has gotten off the floor sucked up when it self-empties. The app is easy to use and you can set it to vacuum where you want and exclude other areas. We purchased it on sale so it was a great deal. We do not regret the purchase since it does help us keep our main living areas cleaner. There are a couple of things we don't like but they would be the same for any robotic vacuum. First, you need to have things somewhat picked up if you want it to do a good job. This is an obvious thing but you have to be mindful of when it will run and prepare accordingly. Second, you need to be aware that some things like cushion mats and certain rugs may need to be moved when it vacuums. We have a couple of thick cushion mats in our kitchen that are against the stove and the sink. If we don't pull them out a bit from the cabinets the vacuum will get stuck there from time to time. Also if you have any rugs or mats that have loose threads these will get caught up in the roller when the vacuum goes over them. These sort of things will prevent the vacuum from finishing it's full cleaning run without you having to intervene. If it gets stuck you just have to correct the problem and turn it back on then it finishes as expected. These are not issues with the vacuum per say but just a reality you would face with any robotic vacuum. I recommend Dustin. One other note, we are empty nesters so kids (small children) messing with it aren't a problem typically but when our grandkids visit we just turn the vacuum off until they leave if it falls on a day it would normally run.
