I received these last week and they were great. Packed extremely well with dry ice and arrived perfectly frozen. Very easy to make once thawed, basically add to large lobster chunks to heated butter and heat for few minutes then add lemon juice, the Connecticut way which I like. Came with a seasoning packet but I forgot to use on the 1st batch. 2 packets 4 each comes up to $12.50/roll and you get a lot more lobster meat than when you buy it and pay close to $40 each. Will be buying more for sure.

I received the package today and it had a minimal cold packaging. Luckily, I got the package as soon as Fed Ex delivered, I opened the box and there were no dry ice or ice packs. The lobster meat was cool but not cold. I receive meats from other companies that know how to ship meats in a Styrofoam and ice packs. I am very disappointed in the packaging. We will try the lobster in one day and hope it is safe to eat.

Quality of the lobster claw meat and fair pricing makes this purchase at the top of my list. My family loved the flavor, quantity and quality of the Connecticut and Maine lobster rolls. The rolls were very tender and toasted well in the frying pan with butter. The flavor packet was good, but a little stronger than we had in the past.

I was so nervous to order these because of the mixed reviews. I ordered two kits on a Tuesday (Sam's website said it would be delivered on Friday), and they were in fact delivered to NM on Friday! The dry ice was almost all the way melted but the lobster was still frozen solid (delivered in July). I allowed the lobster to thaw in fridge for 24 hrs and followed the directions for the Connecticut style (we didn't use the seasoning). They were so delicious! Loved the buns (especially after butter, toasting and warming), and there was plenty of tasty lobster to stuff each one. Everyone at our dinner party was very pleased and surprised at the great price.

I bought this for my elderly parents and they loved it! I They don't really need things, if they want something they buy it themselves and don't have a Christmas list. Also they are 87 and live independently, but have mobility issues so a gift certificate to a restuarant wasn't great and money is out of the question, so I rattle my brain to come up with something that they would love and didn't know they needed, or make something. Needless to say all of this is quite stressful. This is the PERFECT solution! They both love lobster and don't get it often as they moved from Maine and live now in a warmer climate. This option PERFECT because they don't have the hassle of cooking fresh lobster, cracking it open, cleaning up or need to get dressed up to go out for diner . It's fresh, conveniently packed in 2 one pound packs and all adds up to a A Christmas gift - I did good! It's very affordable! They were so delighted and even invited friends over to enjoy it with them and had a great time. I ordered again for myself and it is very good, restaurant quality. I highly recommend it and hope that Sam's continue to offer this and other fresh foods like it that can be shipped.

Amazing Lobster Rolls!! I upgraded my Sams membership just so i could have free shipping on these, and i am not disappointed. The lobster meat was delicous! I like that there is no tail meat, because im not a fan. But the taste was perfect! Reminded me of the lobster that comes from Cousins Main Food Truck or Lobsterdogs Food Truck. Even the buns were amazing! i had backup buns just in case these were a dud. But they were so so good. I even took a part of the roll to just eat with butter. Shipping was fast, it was here in less than a week. The lobster meat was still mostly frozen when it arrived, which was suprising given the heat we have been having. I will definitely be ordering again! It is worth the membership upgrade!

I read horror stories here. I just received 2 frozen solid bags of lobster meat and can't wait to eat one. The other is in the freezer. Sam's does not ship this item. FEDEX does, and they suck. Do you realize how much I saved buying this from Sam's? I even paid for most of it with Sam's Cash. I am a Happy Camper😎

Excellent product. This was absolutely everything we were wanting and more. My wife loves lobster rolls and I had tried my first a month ago. She truly loved these, as did I. Quick, easy and delicious. Only bad reviews I read was delivery (dry ice). I may wait till September to order again, but ours were delivered semi. frozen.
