I bought this to use with our 5th wheel when we can't connect to power. Haven't had a chance to use it yet but I tested it out and it seems to work great. I was hoping it would be a little quieter but it isn't too bad. Looking forward to using it on the road.

This igen2500 generator has been a good and reliable emergency source of power. The only complaint I have about it is the engine access cover is a pain to remove to check the oil. A Phillips screw driver is required and the cover is difficult to pull away from the side of the unit for access.

Generator came a couple days ago. I added the oil and gas, started on the second pull. I used my rv for the break in period. Five hours later I shut it off. I would like to tell you more but that’s all I ran it so far, but those 5 hours it ran great.

I purchased 2 of these generators. wanted to power up my camper, with the intent to parallel these units. These units do not have a 30 amp plug, which is one of the few that don't. It is much louder than advertised and you can run other brands next to it and not hear the other brand running. All in all, I would not purchase this product again, I would spend the extra money to get a quieter one.

I bought this product for my sister in August. We tested it with 2 small appliances and 2 phone chargers a few weeks ago, it ran relatively quiet, and worked good. We will know more about the product when we need to use during the power outage. Start was easy, as both of us are petite women, it took 1 pull to start. So far, we like it

Two generators received undamaged. One runs smooth and quiet thru break-in cycle (3 hrs.); the other only 1 hr. before overheating and shutting down. Question about rotating data display has gone unanswered for a week, so far, due to high call volume.

My second portable generator. Had purchased another brand about a year ago. First time out of the box, added oil and it started with one pull. Have not run it under load so far but it ran flawlessly. Seems to have good features, I'm giving it 5 stars based on my initial experience.

I just received, set up and started my iGen2500. Seems all I need right now for limited household backup to SoCA rolling outages for fire avoidance. After a 36 hr experience, easy to make the commitment. Runs quiet enough, got heavy gauge cord for remote placement, ready for outages and now also have camping/remote work portable power! ...Wife is happy, too!

I started my igen2500 up for the first time today ...all was well except the "automatic" rotating display did not rotate. I called customer service and they pointed me to a small black button underneath the display that was almost invisible ...and not mentioned in the service manual ...now all is well! Westinghouse it would be nice if the button was yellow or white...I might have seen it

Added oil and gas and started on second pull! Ran for the 5 hour break-in period varying the load no more then 50% then did an oil change. I filtered the used oil and there was minimal metal shavings (expected in a new motor). I was able to run a Eden Pure heater (1500w) wide open which was 50% load on inverter, that's the largest thing I've run so far. Think it will be a good little emergancy back-up to have!
