Two generators received undamaged. One runs smooth and quiet thru break-in cycle (3 hrs.); the other only 1 hr. before overheating and shutting down. Question about rotating data display has gone unanswered for a week, so far, due to high call volume.

My second portable generator. Had purchased another brand about a year ago. First time out of the box, added oil and it started with one pull. Have not run it under load so far but it ran flawlessly. Seems to have good features, I'm giving it 5 stars based on my initial experience.

I just received, set up and started my iGen2500. Seems all I need right now for limited household backup to SoCA rolling outages for fire avoidance. After a 36 hr experience, easy to make the commitment. Runs quiet enough, got heavy gauge cord for remote placement, ready for outages and now also have camping/remote work portable power! ...Wife is happy, too!

I started my igen2500 up for the first time today ...all was well except the "automatic" rotating display did not rotate. I called customer service and they pointed me to a small black button underneath the display that was almost invisible ...and not mentioned in the service manual ...now all is well! Westinghouse it would be nice if the button was yellow or white...I might have seen it

Added oil and gas and started on second pull! Ran for the 5 hour break-in period varying the load no more then 50% then did an oil change. I filtered the used oil and there was minimal metal shavings (expected in a new motor). I was able to run a Eden Pure heater (1500w) wide open which was 50% load on inverter, that's the largest thing I've run so far. Think it will be a good little emergancy back-up to have!

I just got it today. I will go through the beak in process starting tomorrow, Filled it with Oil and added gas, It started on the 3rd pull. Next week I will see how the two 2500's perform on my travel trailer. it has a 13,500 BTU AC unit. We will see how they perform. I have 64 hours on our other IGen 2500 so its ready to go, Just changed the oil, cleaned the air filter. All we have to do is add fuel!

After filling up the oil reservoir with the oil that was included with the generator, and filling up the gas reservoir about halfway, the unit fired up on the 1st pull. I ran it for about 5 minutes then shut it off. I'll run it for 30 minutes in the next day or two, to check out the connections for the 2 - USB ports and the 2 100v outlets. I live in south Los Angeles County and bought the generator to power my refrigerator, router, laptop and charge up the mobile phones during an emergency power outage. Because CA is run by brain-dead liberals, they have not beefed up our power grid over the decades, and since they are insisting on using electric vehicles, the power grid cannot handle the late afternoon, early evening power grid needs. Plus, if there's an earthquake, EMP attack, or another such power-ending event, I can keep the fridge/freezer running for a few days. Hang in there folks, and remember to Fight On!

We bought this generator to power our RV when boon docking. We needed 2300 watt start up power for the air conditioner. At 2500 watts, this generator had no problem running the air conditioner, and was only running at 50%. We have a 20 ft trailer, I believe a 50 amp air conditioner. It was very quiet as well, could easily have a conversation while standing next to it. We just got it, so can only give initial review.

you never know when you might be out of power. This is the second igen2500c generator I have. Both work great, I only have approx. 12-15 hours on each but they have not failed me yet. I filled them with oil and gas and performed the break in process as described in the manual, and they have been starting easily and run quieter than the other generators I can hear around the neighborhood, while standing next to it and it is running.

I recently bought this igen2500 generator and I am really very satisfied with the generator since it meets what I currently need, which is the usb ports, it measures the level of gasoline, how long it has run, how much power in percent am I consuming, all of this in a digital panel and I can see all of that on that panel more clearly. I really don't regret buying it, and above all quite quiet for my area. I also got carried away by the other people who have had it and have very good feedback from many people. I recommend it for everyone.
