I have been looking around for a generator for my rv for a while until sams club offered this great deal. This generator produces largest power for its size and weight. I’ve tried this in my RV. It runs my 13500btu AC without any problem at its max cool setting. It runs all of my appliances including microwave, air fryer and pressure cooker. You can’t run them simultaneously but runs great if you use them separately. So far I am very happy.

Went dry camping for 5 days and had it running from 12 hours a day and it worked great. We were very happy with it. It was quieter than the others around us.

I've been keeping an eye on inverters online for longer than I care to admit. I decided to buy ne last fall but knew I wouldn't need it until spring (barring an ice storm over the winter) so I had time. This one has what I need, a couple 110 outlets and 2 USB's. Plus, I don't remember seeing one that puts out this much power for a unit under 50 lbs. Until I retired, I borrowed a nice red one from work a few times a year for camping. If you painted this one red I'm not sure I could tell the difference. It starts easy, runs quiet and responds well to changing loads. Time will tell but with proper maintenance, I expect long term flawless performace from this unit.

Easy to operate. Simple instructions. Quiet running. I purchased for emergency use. Looks like a good unit to meet my electric needs if we lose power. Nice chart in instructions to show approximate power needs of typical household appliances (fridge etc)

We had been looking to purchase this style of generator for a few years now. With a little research we found that the Westinghouse 2500 could give us what we wanted and at a much better price. We have used it a couple of times with the PG&E power outages here in California and have been completely satisfied. It is quite and has given us the power we have needed to run a few lights and to power up all the electronic devices we have needed it to.

No broken plug or wire! Started second pull. Seemed to run okay. Would not run my 10" radial arm saw (very high starting current) because its breaker popped. (Saw runs on a 15A house breaker just fine - dims the lights a bit but doesn't pop the breaker.) Worked with all of the other shop tools I tried. Exhaust is particularly aromatic (notable because I'm a mechanic used to exhaust stink). Don't position close to any air intakes you care about! I really like the carb drain feature. You can drain off the gas in the tank that feature will prolong its life for sure.

Would not run out of the box. Called Westinghouse. Customer service was helpful but their suggestion did not work. I eventually figured out the choke was not adjusted correctly. Once I adjusted choke, it fired right up. Don't waste time disassembling and cleaning the carb like I did - check the choke first. I'm disappointed in the sound level - louder than I'd hoped in all modes and output levels.

I bought this online it was 17 days late and once I received it I was upset because this was used, owners manual was dirty generator itself was discolored and smelled like gas you can tell it was already used. Will not be buying from sams club every again, this was my first purchase from them and last.

After research and review of inverter generators in this price range, we purchased 2 Westinghouse generators in Nov. 2020 for Christmas. We test started them in January. Easy start, however, one generator seemed to work properly but had a distinct ringing tone when running. We weren't going to chance keeping it. The second generator economy button wouldn't work. Sam's most generously retuned them with no problem. Because we liked the features of the generator so we purchased 2 more, hoping we had just received a bad batch with the first purchase. If the next 2 have problems we will not try again with Westinghouse.

Do not buy unless you want to spend lots of energy trying to start. I will stick with honda, one pull one start.
