Very impressive generator, quite yet more powerful than the one costing twice as much that starts with an "H". After looking around at the others this one stood out clearly as the best value for the money and has 500 more peak/continuous wattage than it's competition..

Waited for the sale of the year. Ordered online. Was delivered in a few days. Arrived in great condition. Put in oil and gas and started break in procedure. After two hours without any load, I drained and installed synthetic 10w30 oil. Then started testing the generator. I purchased the generator to run my 21 foot travel trailer. I appears to be working fine. When starting the ac I make sure all other items are off. After starting the ac, then I can turn back on what ever I need. Very happy with purchase.

Initial review is they (I got two) are perf4ct for what i want. One is capable of running the a/c in the trailer but I wanted the ability to Make coffee. make toast, use a air fryer so I bought two and a parallel cable. They starl easy and and and, at this point I am very satisfied. The real test will be this summer when I start traveling.

Works great when running and easy to move around. Wasn't able to get it started out of the box so had to use a small shot of starting fluid. Still doesn't start as easy as it should and often smells flooded. I just keep starting fluid in my RV if I need it to start sometimes. Once it's running, it is a great generator for it's small size.

This is an early review as I have only done the break-in of the generator. Purchased it on sale for $400 and it arrived a few day ahead of schedule. It comes with 10W30 4stroke/cycle oil, screwdriver, and a spark plug wrench. I checked the spark plug to make sure it wasn't damaged as some other reviews had pointed-out that it could be damaged during manufacture. I added the oil and a half can of ethanol-free Tru-fuel (4 cycle). Started on the 2nd pull and ran it for about 15-30 minutes. The idle seemed to hunt a bit at first but smoothed out in about a minute. Based upon my previous experience with 4 stoke engines, I changed the oil after this run. There were some metal filings in the oil from the 1st run, but nothing more than I've seen from my Honda. After this oil change and started-up and ran the generator with various electrical loads an it did what it supposed to do. After about 10 to 20 hours I'm going to do another oil change and go with 4 cycle synthetic oil.

I followed the directions. Filled and checked oil, filled the gas tank, and cracked it up. It started on second pull and I slowly moved from choke to run. After a minutes run time, I plugged in a fan then turned it on. It only pulled .3 kw, so I plugged in a wet/dry vacuum. The load increased to 1.1 kw. I let it run for the recommended break in period. I'm very satisfied. I was going to buy a cordless 7 1/2 inch circular saw, but decided to buy this generator instead so that I can use all my corded tools and save money.

Received item after a trip from one corner of this country to the other Received in great condition The item is just what I need I have yet to run the it but Im sure it will do what I need it to do if and when the next hurricane shows up.Over all very happy with the item

Good little generator. I already have the i2200, and wanted to try this i2500. It's a bit louder than the 2200 (because it has a bigger engine) but still pretty quiet. We'll see how it holds up long term but my i2200 is several months old and it still runs like a champ. I use it a couple times a month when I go down to the beach.

This is my second I2500 purchase. I purchased the original as a source for my fifth wheel while boondocking. I’m so happy with the original, I bought a second and a parallel cord so I can run both generators for my AC. Nice to have the pair to run both AC units but don’t have to lug the second generator during the winter.

We put oil and gas in it then hooked it up to a instant pot to see how well it would carry the load did a great job. So then put blow drier on it with the instant pot and worked great. We RV a lot so we wanted something that would carry all the stuff we use. It run our microwave witch was important. The only thing it was louder then we thought it would be. Hope it continues to perform and we have no trouble with it.
