I purchased this and used it twice and perfect, easy to start and quiet. The next time I tried to start it, it would not start. It was not getting spark. I called and the customer service and they were just unbelievably professional, asked the right questions, had one shipped out the next day to replace it. The replacement is dead on perfect and far exceeds my expectations. Thank you

Works great when running and easy to move around. Wasn't able to get it started out of the box so had to use a small shot of starting fluid. Still doesn't start as easy as it should and often smells flooded. I just keep starting fluid in my RV if I need it to start sometimes. Once it's running, it is a great generator for it's small size.

I purchased two of these generators. When they ran they worked well. The problem was they often didn't run or ran poorly. Both generators would not restart when they were warmed up. I had to wait two hours with the first generator before I could start it again. I had to wait over night before I could restart the second generator. Shortly after the break in period it began to stumble badly. Every five seconds it would slow down and then speed up. sometimes while idling both generators would show faults with the indicator lights either the red overload light would be on or the green light was off and no others on. Customer service was very responsive and pleasant to deal with . However, they could not solve the problems. We tried fresh fuel and running the generator without a fuel cap. The air intakes were not plugged. I ran both of these generators 8 or 9 hours trying to fix the problems Everything we tried didn't work. I really wanted these generators to work out. Its hard to find a generator in this size that delivers 20 amps continuously. I tried my best to get them working properly and failed.

Im very happy with my purchase so far. still breaking it in. bought the igen 2800 and it has exceeded my exspectations. plugged up my 5000 btu window unit and it runs it at 0.43 kw. it barely gets off the zero on the load meter. plugged up a small space heater and at 1300 watts is was reading 50% on the draw. Not to heavy at about 60 lbs full of gas and oil. She sips gas on echo mode but when you put it under a 75% or more load dont exspect more than 7 hr run time on a gallon of fuel. i love my new generator and i will be getting a second one to parallel with this one. this generator is very quiet on echo mode but goes into beast mode when under a full load. the only thing i dont like is how easy you can scratch up the body paint. very easy to make scratch marks on the blue finish. starts on one pull while choked but will not start if not choked no matter how long you run it or how warmed up the engine is.

I’ve only used the generator for roughly 2 hours so far. It’s very easy to start, it’s quiet and runs well. I like the auto idling feature so it idles down when nothing is drawing power and then idles up when power is being drawn. It feels very solid and I expect it to last for many years of use.

Cranked on 2nd pull it runs great, love the gauges, wish 2200 had that, going to pair it when I need too with the 2200 but easy to carrry about 48pounds so it’s not going anywhere! Both the 2500 and the 2200 make great partners if you need more power!

Good little generator. I already have the i2200, and wanted to try this i2500. It's a bit louder than the 2200 (because it has a bigger engine) but still pretty quiet. We'll see how it holds up long term but my i2200 is several months old and it still runs like a champ. I use it a couple times a month when I go down to the beach.

I followed the directions. Filled and checked oil, filled the gas tank, and cracked it up. It started on second pull and I slowly moved from choke to run. After a minutes run time, I plugged in a fan then turned it on. It only pulled .3 kw, so I plugged in a wet/dry vacuum. The load increased to 1.1 kw. I let it run for the recommended break in period. I'm very satisfied. I was going to buy a cordless 7 1/2 inch circular saw, but decided to buy this generator instead so that I can use all my corded tools and save money.

The iGen2500 is a great little generator, easy to start and long run time at 50% capacity. Like the extra bells and whistles on this unit from Sam's Club that are not on the same model bought elsewhere. Digital read out for various information is nice and the ability to link via the separate plug in.

Not really all that quiet. It came out of the package ok and started ok. My other generator is a Briggs and Stratton. This one is quiet when idling, but under load is much louder than the other one. That must be why they don't give you a db rating. There is also a faint generator whine under load that is not there on the other one. It does handle the air conditioner in my camper though. I hope it lasts.
