I purchased this and used it twice and perfect, easy to start and quiet. The next time I tried to start it, it would not start. It was not getting spark. I called and the customer service and they were just unbelievably professional, asked the right questions, had one shipped out the next day to replace it. The replacement is dead on perfect and far exceeds my expectations. Thank you

Started up new with second pull worked great but ran a little rough the whole time. Only used 2 hours and one of the LED on the fuel level side stopped Working. Called Westinghouse and sent them video and they agreed to exchange it for a new one. I am in the process of returning it now. All and all a great inverter generator in spite of my not so perfect experience. I am excited to get the new one and hopefully have no problems as this generator is a lot of generator for the money.

Im very happy with my purchase so far. still breaking it in. bought the igen 2800 and it has exceeded my exspectations. plugged up my 5000 btu window unit and it runs it at 0.43 kw. it barely gets off the zero on the load meter. plugged up a small space heater and at 1300 watts is was reading 50% on the draw. Not to heavy at about 60 lbs full of gas and oil. She sips gas on echo mode but when you put it under a 75% or more load dont exspect more than 7 hr run time on a gallon of fuel. i love my new generator and i will be getting a second one to parallel with this one. this generator is very quiet on echo mode but goes into beast mode when under a full load. the only thing i dont like is how easy you can scratch up the body paint. very easy to make scratch marks on the blue finish. starts on one pull while choked but will not start if not choked no matter how long you run it or how warmed up the engine is.

Not really all that quiet. It came out of the package ok and started ok. My other generator is a Briggs and Stratton. This one is quiet when idling, but under load is much louder than the other one. That must be why they don't give you a db rating. There is also a faint generator whine under load that is not there on the other one. It does handle the air conditioner in my camper though. I hope it lasts.

Arrived on time in perfect condition. Started on the first pull and runs smooth. I'm still breaking it in. I found out after I bought it that there is a version of the same generator with a camo case instead of the blue. Other than that, it's perfect.

Fairly simple, add oil then minor assembly. Added a gallon of gas then the carburetor started leaking all over. It took awhile to find the wright size wrench and tighten up the drain plug underneath the carburetor (no room for the wrench movements) since then the unit works fine, but I’ll keep an eye on it.

Fairly quiet, although not as quiet as the Hondas. Mine runs "rough" at 1/2 load, and smooths out at full load (2000 watt draw). It idles quietly and smoothly (granted, at this speed it would only be useful charging cell phones). With a 1500 watt load, the generator will run approx. 3.5 hours. This generator is pretty much like others, as far as half load fuel consumption... ie: 5000 watt gen will burn approx 0.5 gallons per hr (gph). A 3500 watt will burn approx 0.35 gph and the Westinghouse 2500 burns approx 0.25 gph If using ethanol fuel, the user "should" drain the carburetor bowl to prevent corrosion in carb. Inside the right side panel is a drain screw and drain hose provided on the carb. bowl, this small feature is generally not provided on other brand generators. It should be able to run two refrigerators at the same time with a little power to spare. Overall, not a bad buy at $400 although, I've only got one hour on the timer.

Don't tip the machine past about 45 degrees when changing the oil! This led to some issues keeping it running during break in. Also, check gas cap if generator suddenly stops running. It may not be tightened up, or even too tight! Other than that, very pleased with the unit. Make sure you do a proper break in (check youtube), run FULL synthetic oil after break in, and replace spark plug with an NKG or Bosch. Just my opinion.

I’ve only used the generator for roughly 2 hours so far. It’s very easy to start, it’s quiet and runs well. I like the auto idling feature so it idles down when nothing is drawing power and then idles up when power is being drawn. It feels very solid and I expect it to last for many years of use.

I received the generator a few weeks ago. I read the manual, I installed the oil. And now I’m waiting to buy a fuel stabilizer before I start the generator. I want to make sure I measure the correct ratio of fuel and stabilizer before I run this machine. So far I like the options and controls. I wish it had wheels, a little heavy. I have a two wheel dollie I use now to move it around. Check back with me later for a better review.
