I just took it out of the box and added oil and gas.....started up on second pull. Very quiet at start up. Checked with voltmeter, looked good. Hooked up a small heater with 600, 900 and 1500 watt setting. Let run several minutes on each setting and now I’m going to drain the oil and add new oil just to be safe. But I’m very pleased so far!

I bought a second generator to run in parallel with the first generator and it runs every bit as well, it came shipped just as well, and I've had just 0 problems with it. I will say that when you run in parallel you must follow the instructions with the parallel cord exactly. If you do not do everything that the instructions say step by step it won't parallel to have equal output. Two of these will run my 13500 btu rv air conditioner, my microwave, my refrigerator and my bathroom fan all at once without tripping overloading.

Bought this unit for tailgating and couldn't be more pleased(Go Vols)! Took 12 pulls to start initially, starts on the first pull ever since. Pleased with how quite it is. My friends who own a Yamaha and a Honda have been very impressed with this unit.

Pleased with the fit and finish of the unit, very light weight, and so quiet while running. It meets all our expectations right out of the box. Fired up 2nd pull, and ran my tools easily. Will try it on the boat to see how many items can be powered up. Once again, I am very impressed with how quiet this genset is...quite impressive.

I like the features of this unit, including the digital read outs for fuel left, operating time remaining, KW being used. Should power our refrigerator, some lights, fans and internet (if the cable is not down) and a TV. Pretty quiet, not heavy. Started right up, no issues.

I bought this item 6 months ago. It ran fine at the time and I use it to run a small air conditioner on my camper. When the a/c is on high, the inverter shows that it is at half power. It runs the air conditioner well and is relatively quiet for a generator, but after about 4 months, it started shutting off for no reason. It will run for about 15 minutes with no problems, but it won't stay running.

My wife is a librarian. When I say she did some research before we selected this model, she did some RESEARCH. I would suggest googling inverter break in process before running for the first time. The provided booklet does not go in to great depth about this process. Once properly broken in, unit has been running smoothly without issue. Negatives-panel, drain plu plstic, feel flimsy.

Power was cut for 2 days of maintenance... since I work from home I had one shot to get this right and Im glad I did. Never looked back. 1 15CF Refrigerator/Freezer 1 Chest Freezer 1 APC UPS 1500W powering 2 laptops, 1 docking station, 3 monitors, headset 2 Fans 1 Breville coffee maker At first I wasnt sure it was working.... nothing registered a load. Barely registered when the ref/Freezer kicked in but barely. Once the cappucino maker kicked in at 1800W it shot up to 50% load during the duration of the heating operation. After the cappuccino maker was done - it went back down to purring like a cat. If I had need for a second one I will buy the same one - but this one served nicely. Make sure to buy a Y cable or other converter with the proper gauge maybe 10/12

Just got the Igen2500. I filled the oil & gas and the unit started on the 1st pull. I have only "played around" with a couple of electrical items (trouble light, 1500W electric heater, etc.). I was impressed with the quiet running even with the 1500w heater running on high.

I started out using some 85 octane I had in the garage. The exhaust didn't smell to good and it didn't run very well. I always intended on running 91 octane Ethanol free gas and when I did it ran much better and the exhaust didn't stink like old gas. She likes 91 so that's what I recommend you run.
