Unpacking it took longer than filling with oil and gasoline and starting. It fired up on the second pull. I bought it for a variety of power tools but mainly to power the 13,500 BTU AC on my Oliver Elite travel trailer. I'd already installed a Micro-Air EasyStart soft start unit on the AC with plans to buy one of those red generators or the other blue one, which produce less power, cost more and have fewer features than the Westinghouse. The EasyStart was needed for those less-powerful units. But then I learned about the iGen2500 on the Micro-Air website. Micro-Air says the iGen25000 will power ACs up to 15,000 BTU with the EasyStart. So maybe it will run my 13,500 in the Efficiency Mode. My trailer is stored elsewhere so I haven't tried it yet. But so far so good. The iGen2500 looks like a well-made generator. I really like the LCD display. I just wish it showed total run hours to help with maintenance.

I've only had this generator for a few days, however, have already used it. No issues running my portable equipment. This model, iPro2500, has significant power, 25% more than other brands. As with similar models, it is very user friendly with the ease of operation. The size and weight are manageable. It will accompany my camper during travel to assist with keeping the fridge/freezer cold when away from a power source. I also will use this generator in my show vehicle, taking it to various area car shows. Being in the south, it's hot most of the year and having a very quiet generator to run a fan will make going to shows more bearable. I would definitely buy another one of these models in the future should the need arise.

After much research I found this Westinghouse igen 2500 to be the best overall inverter generator for use at home during occassional power outages. Adequate to run my large refrigerator/freezer, tv, fans, computer, cell phone, coffee maker with power to spare. Very quiet, efficient and lightweight with good warranty from a great American Company, i.e. Westinghouse.. Great price too from AP Electric & Generators, WI

Bought this generator for home backup and for RV use Have had a few close calls on losing the contents of my freezer in the summer and worrying about freezing pipes with lose of power to my gas furnace in the winter I have an RV and would also like it to be big enough to run my air conditioner also Almost purchased a larger generator but looked at there weight and did not want to have to lift it in and out of my truck while camping, this generator is easy to lift Calculated the loads that I wanted to handle and the Igen2500 looks like it has more then what I should need Unpacked the generator and it was in good shape, added the oil and gas and after a couple of easy pulls it started and ran well Put a 1200watt heater load on the generator and it easily and handled it Have not fully loaded it yet I really like the information display, the power load, runtime and fuel level are very useful, there is a button on the display that lets you select what function you what to look at I like that the power is clean and I do not have to worry about running the electronic controls on my furnace and the RV systems So far very happy with it

I live in a tropical island with a very poor elecric power service. The last huracaine Maria in 2017 left the whole island in the dark for over 7 months. Some places over a year. Besides that we have power failures basicaly every day for many hours. I used to own a big generator, but fuel costs where absurd ! Now my family and I could have peace of mind with this exellent generator, not having to worry about the amount of fuel it wil consume, besides it is so quiet and it efficient I am glad I chose this model...

I purchased the generator nine months ago for winter weather emergencies, but thankfully did not need it then, so I fired it up today. You just add the supplied bottle of engine oil, fill with gasoline, start on choke and turn the control to run. I was afraid of overfilling the gasoline, so it did not run as long as I thought that it would. The gas tank has a red ring to indicate when to stop filling, but it isn't easy to see when the gasoline approaches the ring. I'll have to get used to it. Initially, it started on the first pull, but I made the mistake of leaving it on choke without turning the dial to run. The engine flooded and I had to wait several hours to be able to start it again. I'll never repeat that mistake! I'm glad that I tested the generator in decent weather, rather than waiting for that emergency situation.

Bought this 3 weeks ago when North Ms. got 8 in. of snow. Unboxed . Put in the premeasured oil. Added gas and in 4 pulls was running and on line. I have not had a chance to run it in an emergency but it will run the blower on my wood stove, refrigerator and some lights. A microwave and the refrigerator may be a a time share thing but we shall see. Well pleased

I recently bought this generator and so far am very satisfied. The packaging was excellent and all the components were very clean and secured. It also came with a bottle of oil, an oil funnel, screwdriver and spark plug wrench which is very handy, and a nice touch to include. I ran it for several hours with no load to break it in and then changed the oil right away. I purchased a magnetic dipstick because all of these small generators don't have an oil filter. I was very pleased there was minimal metal flake and debris on the magnet after running. I was expecting more since it is common with small engines. It speaks to the level of care in the assembly process. After it was all broke in I used it to on my small fish house/camper to run several appliances. It is exactly as Advertised and I'm very happy with my decision to go with Westinghouse.

just fired it up so can't provide too much meaningful data but so far i like it. price was right. very easy to use. nice packaging and controls. started very smoothly and runs fairly quiet. writing this review because i was offered a free cover for the generator but now apparently i am not going to be sent one! seems wrong to offer something then take it back. but that's nothing against the generator; more westinghouse as a company

I bought this to use with my new Camper. Started right up and ran flawlessly for two hours on one cup of gas. Runs everything I need including the AC. Just used it in my shed to power my 1500 amp heater and a light while I was working out there in the bitter cold for a few hours. Support was great when I called up with a couple questions about the LED Display. Would recommend as its very quiet, light enough to carry around with one hand, powerful, and efficient.
