I bought this a week and a half ago. Took it out to test and it worked perfectly. It’s mind blowing how quiet it is compared to our old generator. I also love that it’s compact and light weight. I am prepared and ready for the next power outage on the Gulf Coast.

Bought this after loosing power for a week after a hurricane. Tested it and it easily runs our refrigerator, microwave, TV and satellite, satellite internet and Wi-Fi and a power strip to charge our phones and use a couple of lamps. Had plenty of power left over if we need to run a few other things. Hopefully we won't need it but if we do we are well prepared now.

Generator started out of the box onthe 3rd pull. Runs great. This generator will provide me with all I need for a portable generator. Weight is 48 lbs, which is a great weight for a 2500 watt gen. Instructions are thorough. Comes with the exact amount of oil to fill with plus a nice funnel. Runs very quiet. So far this has been a great choice.

I have only had this generator one day but initial impressions are mostly favorable. It started easily and worked. I used it with various items in both standard and ECO mode and it worked properly. The LED display could use more detailed information in the manual.

Added the oil per the instructions, added gasoline, and pulled the rope. Started right up and ran very quietly. I plugged in my electric power washer and spent about an hour on the generator. The electric power washer was much louder than the generator. I moved the generator behind my car and it was almost unnoticeable. I have a large generator that runs my house, but is hard to carry on trips (it is heavy). I got this one to carry in my truck for trips (we camp in the bed). Very easy to move and load into the truck.

i like the LED digital display feature that gives fuel level, remaining runtime, voltage and power output. Runs quiet. After the initial filling of gas and oil, subsequent starts were easy. Great product to bring with my camper and for emergency home use. Got an excellent price from major discount store

We bought this generator after researching the ratings of several other invertor generators. The Westinghouse generator had the most features and value for our money. Its performance has been wonderful and we have been very pleased. We would gladly purchase this again and recommend it to all our friends. It is wonderful. Thank you Westinghouse!

The size of this unit, plus the claim to produce low decibels when running it caught my attention. It is easy to carry and transport by one person. It is very quiet! Hard to hear from 20 feet. The engine starts up quickly every time, easy pull start. The digital display tells you all the critical parameters in one spot, and is bright enough to read in full daylight .One nice touch is the oil fill funnel. It threads into the crankcase fill port and seals with an o-ring. Takes up very little space, yet powers two freezers and one refrigerator without a hiccup. LOVE IT!

I have not used the generator yet but started it when I purchased it and was pleased with its small size and 2500 amp peak operation. It is not near as niosy as my last generator. Having been through 2 hurricaines and living near the Gulf of Mexico, I hope we never have to use it but I now feel prepared. My last generator was bigger but used fuel at a much more rapid rate. This will operate the window A/C we purchased for emergencies as well as lights and the all important coffee pot!

I had an older Coleman 5500 which was overkill and way loud. I read good reviews and decided on this Westinghouse igen2500. It should work fine for a refrigerator and heater which is all we need. I just completed the break in period and it’s quiet, light, simple and even the size is convenient. I look forward to putting it to the test this coming winter.
