Quiet and does the job

We used this generator to run our electric tiller at some rental property we own. The house doesn't have outside electricity. This generator was quieter then I expected. It did a great job and we completed the tilling without an issue. We also plan to take it with us camping in the future.

Fantastic, Affordable, Quiet

I am very please and impressed with this little generator. It is much quieter than traditional non inverter generators, is very affordable, and is packed full of features with the digital display system. Eco mode is perfect saves fuel, and helps reduce noise level. Overall this is a fantastic unit that I would recommend to others to purchase.

Ideal Generator for Travel Trailer or RV

Bought a competitor's 2000 Watt generator but quickly found it was unable to handle my travel trailer's AC even with a microprocessor soft start kit. The Westinghouse iGen2500 provided enough extra surge and running wattage to do the job without a problem. Great features of the iGen2500 are the same lite weight and approximately the same size but best feature of all for me was the lower price.

Wow - small and quiet!

I was shocked when I started up the iGen2500. It started on the first pull and is very quiet. We have a 2500 watt Cummins mounted on our camper van, and the iGen is much quieter. We tested it by plugging the van into it and turning on the 13500btu AC unit in the van. You could hear the load it placed on the iGen, but it didn't skip a beat. The volume amped up a bit, but sitting next to our camper van, it's much quieter than the built in Cummins unit. My wife is smitten with it and wants us to bring it with us as a back-up for our camper van. It has a very nice digital display on it, and the build quality is very nice as well. Other than being a bit on the heavy side, we are very impressed!

Easily starts RV A/C equipped with Micro Air EasyStart 364

I purchased this generator to run the A/C on desert camping trips. I installed a Micro Air EasyStart 364 onto an older Coleman Mach 3 unit. The A/C starts easily on the ECO setting, and runs the A/C at around 1/2 load on the generator. For testing, once the A/C was running, I was able to start the microwave and it worked without complaint. I did not test the voltage reading for accuracy, but it corresponded with the meter inside the trailer, and even under load, the voltage stayed about 120-122 volts. Although this unit does make a bit more noise under load, it is definitely nowhere near a 3600rpm generator. Inside, with the A/C on, the generator was barely perceptible. With the A/C off, the engine idled down and is rather quiet when not under load. I am very pleased with this generator.

I would recommend this generator.

Great product easy to use generator. Incredible fuel efficiency a full tank can give you up to 15 hours at 50% load. I am really impressed with it. After many comparisons with other inverters on this power range I select this generator and I am extremely satisfied.

Great Price

I haven't gotten to use the iGen2200, but it seems to be solidly built. Being made in Vietnam in my opinion is many steps above the Chinese throw away items. The one thing that would be a great addition, would be some kind of storage bag/compartment that you could stow the user manual and the oil/funnel/tools that are provided so that you may be able to find when you need them. Overall a good investment.

Like it so far

I bought it in less than month ago an tried it to run. I connect it to camper and turn on refrigerator , after that air conditioner, microwave and all this ran at the same time without any problem. I have not fully tested it yet, but it pretty quiet compare to other ones and generated power. Only thing that I mentioned is a little whistle noise. I am not sure where it comes from, but it is not significant.

Easy to use, reliable

I bought this generator recently as a backup for hurricanes, but it proved to be useful much sooner than expected during a winter storm. We were very pleased with how easy it was to learn its proper setup and use. It was very reliable over several days of power outages. Very glad to have this generator!

More power without the bulk!

I currently have a generator that has 1700 running watts for ice fishing. I hangs in there but I needed something with a little more power and this fit the bill without adding any more bulk or weight from my current generator. The display on this is a great feature and added benefit you don’t get with other generators. Definitely recommend this product.
