I live in a tropical island with a very poor elecric power service. The last huracaine Maria in 2017 left the whole island in the dark for over 7 months. Some places over a year. Besides that we have power failures basicaly every day for many hours. I used to own a big generator, but fuel costs where absurd ! Now my family and I could have peace of mind with this exellent generator, not having to worry about the amount of fuel it wil consume, besides it is so quiet and it efficient I am glad I chose this model...

We use this unit for our 5th wheel and so far it has met expectations. I tested it with my wife's blow dryer and it handled it fine. Hopefully it performs just as well when it is 90 plus degrees and I have to use the air conditioner. The blow dryer is 1800 watts so I don't forsee a problem. This unit was half the price of a Honda and has a higher output rating.

I received the iGen2600 exactly as described. Added oil and gas, started on first pull. Went through the break-in process and all is working great. This generator runs RV camper lights, tv, fridge and small air-conditioner with no problem or lack of power. Quiet as described, a great camping generator. Lightweight and easy to carry with one hand. Quite a bit of research went into this buy and so far it is a solid purchase.

I've used this a couple of times so far during power outages. It handles the items I need to keep us functional and is nice and quiet. The LED Data Center is something I wish I had on my earlier (bigger) generator that decided to stop working a year ago. I particularly appreciate the run time tracker which will help me stay on top of maintenance.

This thing is incredibly quiet. Just as quiet as the red brand. I use this for boondocking camping. Only thing I can't run on my RV is the AC and the Microwave. But once I talk the wife into letting me get a second unit with the parallel kit, we'll be good there too!

This appears to be a good machine. It started on the first pull right out of the box, after adding the gas and oil. Time will tell how good it really is. I added a little gas and it started right up. I opened the choke and after a several seconds the engine began to surge and died and would not start again. (I hope this is not going to be a problem.) I added a little more gas to the tank and it restarted and the engine smoothed out, so maybe it wad just air in the lines. I restarted it a few days later and it had no problems. It does have a bit of a sound to the muffler as if it were running a little rich and reburns in the muffler a little and I don't know if this is normal for this engine. I am going to give it some time and see how it goes. I will also try to talk to someone on the help line and see what they have to say. The rest of my review will sound like knit picking, but hopefully can help the buyer and the designer. (1)The dB rating would be more helpful if it stated at how many feet this was taken. Like many other reviewers I find machine this to be louder than expected (not a deal breaker). (2) The operator should not have to remove a cover that has Philips head screws, in order to check or add oil. The cheap screwdriver that is provided is a poor fit for the screws and would booger them up over time. (3) The fuel capacity is way to small for my intended purpose, (2.5 Hrs. of run time at full output). I should have been more thorough when researching this product. I cant imagine having to get up several times a night to keep a refrigerator and freezer running without the generator running out of fuel and possibly damaging them the next time we lose power for several days. I must look into an auxiliary fuel tank for this generator and now what seemed like a good price is no longer.

Product seems very well designed and to perform well right out of the box. Good instructions. Started on first pull. Have only run it for a couple of hours for initial testing and break-in. So I cannot give it 5 stars (or less) until I've used it awhile and can better assess its performance and durability.

Great generator. Starts easily. Nice display and output configuration. Doesn't purr as smoothly as my wh2000xlti but it runs my camper ac and all by itself. I also purchased the parallel cable to pair the two generators, but haven't needed to yet. Light enough for my wife to load and unload.

I purchased this generator about ten days ago, received it promptly, and have already filled it with gas and tried it out. It's easy to start and small enough to store easily. I ordered it upon the recommendation of a friend who also owns it. My husband and I both think it's a terrific product for use in the barn (which has no electricity) at our farm.

We bought this unit to use with our restored vintage camper. Especially for campsites with no electricity. I researched many units, where I considered the size, the decibels, cost, and customer reviews. I was surprised to find that this unit had one of the lowest dB on the market (even acknowledging that the dB increases with the load). Hopefully the unit will holdup to the reviews. The unit came with oil (equal to what is needed in unit), came with a screw-in funnel to make oil filling more convenient, the digital display is very nice, where the numbers are easy to read. Disappointed that it does not give the kilowatt output. We have not tested it under a heavy extended load, but connected to our small camper and we were able to run a small fridge (with a small freezer) and a microwave (950 watt), along with a couple of fans and lights, where the load was at 75%. We plan to purchase a small AC unit as well. The unit is easy to move around, and did not have to worry about burning your leg on the exhaust. The size and weight is manageable. The unit is more difficult to start when it is warm. We did buy a magnetic oil plug to use initially - based on the reviews of others. It looks like some metal flecks were collected on the plug. Unfortunately, you need to be careful when removing the plug, because oil will run out of the unit if you do not tip it back. The unit ran for 4 hours on less than a half gallon of gas. I will update this review after using it in a real situation.
