Great generator for the money!

I have ran the generator through the initial 20 hr. break in oil change, varying the load every so often. It is quick to respond to loads, even with economy mode on. Seems to be great on fuel! Very quiet at idle and through the first 50% of load, then the sound level increases, which honestly is to be expected when the gen is running 1500+watts. Very easy to start. One of the best features is the operator control panel; it gives you all important information right at a glance. Overall, very happy with my purchase!

Great value!

Just received the 2200/2500 and I’m especially happy with all the parameters it monitors and provides indication for. The noise level was a bit higher than expected with the efficiency mode turned off. When the switch in turned on the noise level drops to a much more tolerable level. Overall can’t wait to put in in service at the campsite.

Everything I was looking for and exceptional value

Was looking for a compact inverter generator that could run my 12k BTU portable AC and several other items in preparation for hurricane season. This iGen2500 is able to pull the AC and several other items. The other 2000 watt generators were more expensive and unable to handle what I needed. The fuel, load usage, and estimated running times on the front panel are a plus and not offered on other models at this price.

Super quiet and very fuel Efficient!

This lightweight packs a big punch, there isn’t anything it can’t power (within it’s limits) would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a remote power supply option. Added oil and fueled up, it fired on the first pull and has been running flawlessly since day one.

Easy to use, Handy Data Center

I've used this a couple of times so far during power outages. It handles the items I need to keep us functional and is nice and quiet. The LED Data Center is something I wish I had on my earlier (bigger) generator that decided to stop working a year ago. I particularly appreciate the run time tracker which will help me stay on top of maintenance.

Does the job

Purchased 9 months ago for occasional use. The unit is fairly quiet, starts pretty easy and runs a long time on a tank of gas. Price was good and have used it enough to know it is dependable. I have an issue now with the spark plug cable, so will see how Westinghouse is with warranty service.

Awesome new unit!

I upgraded from an i2400 Explorer to this unit for the digital display mostly, didn't have an issue with the Explorer. That said I only have a few hours on this new iGen2500, but so far it runs like a champ. Started up with only a couple pulls and ran loads between 500 and 2000 watts with ease. Extremely quiet, especially on the lower loads and idle with the eco mode turned on. I very much like the redesign of this unit.

Small and quiet

I bought the 2200 a few months ago, and love it. I have put 20 hours on it with no issues at all. This one (the 2500) just got unpacked today and ran with a break-in load for about an hour. Seems fine so far! Almost the same outer dimensions as the 2200, but just a shade louder likely due to the larger engine. Still pretty quiet. Now, I'm getting the synch cables to run them both together.

Great Generator

So far the iGen2500 is great compared to a different brand I have used previously. Still in the break in period haven't had a full load on it yet. Starts on the 1st or 2nd pull and is easy for my wife to start. So far i rate this high for quality, we will have to see how long the iGen2500 will last!

Great Generator and Excellent Value

Put in the oil and filled with gasoline and it started right up. The "load sensing" or "eco-mode" works great with the generator idling when power is not required but if your refrigerator for example turns on, the generator speeds up to meet the power demand. Haven't used it long enough to know about long-term durability, but it runs great, puts out good power, and seems well-designed. The only thing I wish it had that it doesn't is any hour meter, but I bought an "after-market" hour meter so I will know how many hours it's operated between oil changes. Very hard to justify buying another brand and paying more when this seems to work so well. Very happy with my purchase. I had a question and Westinghouse customer service was very responsive even in the middle of the China virus shut-down.
